Don't you wish that there was a Civ out there that gives extra food from farms and fish sources? What about a Civ that gives Gardens a meaning in the game by giving extra happiness? Well then Hannover is the right Civ for you. Led by Ernst August, Hannover is ready to expand the production of farms and fish resources. Hannovers Unique Ability, Loess Area, gives all farms +1 Food. This little boost can increase the population of your cities. Hannover has 2 Unique buildings, the North Sea Harbor, which gives +1 Food from Fish Sources and the Herrenhouesen Gardens, which is your average garden with a +1 extra happiness bonas. With boosted food production from land and sea, you will be able to play, expand, and conquer as Hannover.

Hannover, A Food and Happiness Civ

To start out, I recommend that you pick a map that has a coastline and a lot of land to work with (Continents, etc..) This can help you later on.

Hannover is a Civ focused on Happiness and Food and its Unique Ability, Loess Area, gives farms +1 Food. This also includes the luxary resource Wheat. With this Unique Ability, your cities can grow faster and thus have a boost to your overall score.

Hannover has 2 Unique Buildings, the North Star Harbor and the Herrenhousen Gardens. The North Start Harbor is like the regular harbor, but gives Fish Sources +1 Food (Fish, etc..) Hannovers second Unique Building, the Herrenhousen Gardens, is the regular Gardens but gives an extra +1 Happiness.

With 2 Unique Buildings and a Unique Ability that improves farms, you are ready to play, expand, and conquer as Hannover, the Food and Happiness Civ.

As for Social Policies, I recommend Tradtion for increased growth of cities, bonas culture, faster border growth and increased happiness.
