All Vehicles List
By Beau the Umbreon
This is a walkthrough for how to get all cars in the base game of Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged. Simple as that, nothing more, nothing less. You're gonna get the full list immediately if you're not sure of what the full list is.

Teh Beginning + Vehicle Prices
Here's something you need to know for right now: I have not cropped all the images I have saved for each vehicle so the current version of this guide you're reading doesn't have pictures nor stats for each tier in it. I plan to add them at a later point, so be sure to look back on it every now and then to see what the cars look like.

Regardless...

I am here to show you the full list of cars and how to get the Secrets. I will make sure that what you see is what you get, and I will show the best ways to get them. This guide will also be organized in the order the vehicles normally are in the game, from Drifters to Swifts for base while the DLC follows afterwards.

The game's base vehicle roster is no longer sorted by rarity, as the rarity of cars no longer have any effect on their performance in this game. They only affect the chances of them appearing in the Shop.

And when it comes to the Shop system for cars you can buy, the amount varies depending on the rarity just like the first Unleashed game. But here, there's two differences:
  • The vehicles are priced higher than they were (Commons were 500, now they cost 2,000)
  • Super Treasure Hunt cars have the same prices no matter what the car is (they're 6,000 each)
Fortunately, payouts for this game are like triple the amount of what the first game was where you get like 525 Coins per 1st place finish in offline races, now you get 1,500 for 1st place finishes offline, or 1,200 for 1st place in Elimination offline.

There's also the Hot Wheels Spin where you could also get cars from, but the likelihood of getting them through that is extremely low, so your best solution is to get the vehicles outright in the Shop. Plus, you can only use Spin Tokens there which are about as scarce as Upgrading Kits.

Vehicle prices
As was just explained, vehicle prices have changed from the first game. They're in the thousands now, and the payouts are much more than before so it's not like you're gonna have financial problems. And don't worry, microtransactions in this game do not exist, it's just you earning in-game currency. Despite that, you'll usually find all the buyable ones in the shop anyway, and you can also force a refresh for every 350 Coins if you don't feel like waiting.

So as you can tell, the game is much more generous with getting the cars unlike the first game with that terrible Blind Box system. Here's the prices for what you're usually gonna see:
-Common: 2,000
-Rare: 3,500
-Legendary/Secret*: 5,000
-Super Treasure Hunt: 6,000

* = Duplicates of cars part of the Secret rarity can only be seen in the Shop once the ones from the Unleashed Missions are obtained. Same for DLC cars, which are Legendary. They never appear in the Hot Wheels Spin.

There's 65 Commons, 30 Rares, 18 Legends, 15 Super Treasure Hunts, and 13 unlockable Secret rarity cars in total, giving off the max of 141 vehicles in the base game, compared to Unleashed 1's 73 base game cars. That's like, twice the amount!

So let's do some algebra here:
Commons - 2,000 * 65 = 130,000 Coins
Rares - 3,500 * 30 = 105,000 Coins
Legends - 5,000 * 18 = 90,000 Coins
Super Treasure Hunts - 6,000 * 15 = 90,000 Coins

130,000 + 105,000 + 90,000(2) = 415,000 Total Coins

And that total is assuming you don't spend 350 on any Shop refreshes (or 1,000 for refreshing prizes from the Hot Wheels Spin). That number may be big, but trust me... that's not even all the game is about. The REAL fun starts with the Secret cars!
Regards to save game searching and why this is a bad idea
Before I go into the full vehicle list, I feel it’s very important to talk about this first because it is common for people to want all upgraded vehicles and possibly every single skill for them unlocked so badly that they will skip directly to the end result by getting a hold of a 100% save game data from someone else. Yes, that is a thing specifically for the PC version of the game, but I do not recommend doing this!

Although it may be fun having a fully complete collection with all the cars upgraded and having all skills unlocked for each within a very short amount of time... what do you really gain from just doing that? What satisfaction would you feel from it? You might think it’s cool for a little while, but since you didn’t put in any work for it, it will have no meaning. You’ll know your collection, upgrades, and possible skill purchases weren't legitimately completed.

Think of it as cheating on a test in school - if you just get the answers from one of your classmates or friends, you’re not doing the work yourself. And even though you may pass the test, you won’t be any better or smarter for it. You won't get any credit as a result.

Part of what makes grinding fun is the rewarding feeling of actually reaching that achievement! You set a goal for yourself, you put in time to meet that goal and eventually, through your own persistence, you'll achieve that goal. You’ll actually feel accomplishment from it.

Not only do people who have no common sense in them do this, there are also people who would go out of their way to make duplicates of their save file. If that's what they wish to do for their own enjoyment, be my guest, but it becomes painfully inexcusable when that person shares their 100% save file(s) to other people for this game.

It's also mandatory to consider whether you should even search for a save file for a fully complete upgraded collection in the first place. Like I mentioned above - by simply getting a hold of a save file for all 141 vehicles upgraded and all skills bought for them, there's no sense of accomplishment. You just have that, without putting in the time and work to get to that point. Sure, what you obtained might have had some kind of value to it, but it's also possible that the person you got the save file from may not have gotten all that legitimately despite the Easy Anti-Cheat system. Whether they did or not, though, you didn't put in the work to get that goal complete.

That's why I advise staying away from people who are willing to lend over their saves to other people, as you never know that the file could contain malicious viruses to kill your computer as well. However, if you're grinding with one or multiple friends and can trust that they're working on their collection legitimately as well, you can achieve that goal in that way.

You can also seemingly grind it out in split-screen mode by having a second controller with tape or a rubber band to hold down the Accelerate trigger on a start/finish course made in Track Builder while picking an Ultimate tier Power Sander and getting it done faster that way, with the only interaction you really have to do for the second controller being selecting a car - although that sense of accomplishment will be less rewarding than doing it in single player, it's still a decent method.

I'm not gonna tell you who to ask for a game save they have completed themselves, nor will I encourage that in the comments as they will be deleted. Please do the work yourself. I do not promote, nor encourage the use of getting a hold of save game data just to get all upgraded cars with their skills unlocked within a much shorter amount of time. I just do not encourage that.

Remember this: true gamers don't use other people's save game files, they do things the intended way. Shame on you if you do that. That goes to all of you reading this. Don't be a n00b and copy someone else's save file. It shows and proves nothing other than your lack of skill, lack of knowledge, and inability to do everything yourself.

Besides, you don't wanna risk the EAC system locking you out of the game, right?
Drifters
These are Drifter cars. You can use these to handle drifting in corners more easily than any other car, enabling you to pull off some insanely wide skids on the track. But they don't have fast boost regeneration, so Boost Skills are the way to go for these. Muscles and Hot Rods are usually put into this category.

-Drift King

Bone Shaker Unleashed
Have the first Hot Wheels Unleashed game installed on the same console/computer and then start up Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged. A message will appear after the title screen saying that the car has been added to the Collection. If you start up Unleashed 2 for the very first time after meeting the aforementioned requirement, you must complete or skip the tutorial and then restart the game for the car to appear in your collection.

Drift King
Complete 10 laps in Drift Master mode without resetting the multiplier. This one can be a bit daunting, especially if you're not good at this mode. But it's not that bad if you can get used to how the drifting works and manage your speed well in corners. You can slow down and even stop in the turns, you just can't collide into walls nor respawn yourself, which both reset your multiplier. Just pick an easy track and get a little bit of a multiplier, then carefully make your way through without touching any walls.
Balanced
When you're driving Balanced cars like these, you'll be able to overcome any track layouts with a good combination of speed and handling, so any Skills you put on these cars will make 'em better overall. You'll find Speed cars a lot in this category.

Cosmic Coupe
Get 100% completion in Creature Rampage mode. This means you need to get all standard and Unleashed Goals for every event. Extreme Events do not count towards the 100% completion, as they're only unlocked after defeating the fifth and final Boss Race. Compared to the Unleashed Goals of the Extreme Events, they're not as difficult, so you'll need to have at least a little bit of skill to get that completion.

La Fasta
Collect all 65 Common cars in the base game. This one should be relatively easy, since each Common car costs 2,000 Coins in the Shop (except Quad Rod for some reason, which costs 3,500, I might be wrong about that). Just keep on buying stuff!

Tooligan
Upgrade 129 cars in the game. I know it says to upgrade all cars, but you only need to upgrade 129 to get this one. The grind truly begins here, as you not only need the amount of cars given, but you'll need to get an abundance of Coins/Upgrading Kits to get just a single car. Yes, you can use Coins to upgrade cars in this game which you were only able to upgrade cars in the first Unleashed game with Gears. But since Upgrading Kits are more scarce than Coins in this game, Milestone was generous enough to have Coins be an option. The upgrading effect is the same, it's just Upgrading Kits are there to be a more convenient way to upgrade your cars.

But you might be wondering... how many Upgrading Kits do you need to upgrade a single car? You need 1 for Powered tier, and 2 for Ultimate tier. So you'll need 3 for one car. Oddly, you can only get those in three ways: completing events in Creature Rampage, leveling up (offline and online), and winning them in the Hot Wheels Spin. In total, you'll need at least 387 Upgrading Kits, and that takes too long to acquire given how scarce they are compared to Skill Points and Coins. You'll be lucky to score 1 or 2 from the Hot Wheels Spin, which can ease up on the grinding a little bit.

As for the Coin method of upgrading, it's actually what most players prefer because Coins are much easier to get. How many Coins you need to get to upgrade a single car isn't that much. You'll need 1,250 for Powered tier, 3,000 for Ultimate tier. So you'll need at least 4,250 Coins to fully upgrade a car. In total, you'll need 548,250 Coins which is a LOT, compared to 387 Upgrading Kits. But, this route is actually the way to go to get this car in a quicker span of time. You'll need to dedicate a few hours of grinding, so you might as well work on those Unleashed Missions as you work on this. Eventually, it'll pay off.

Once done, you'll also get the next car below, assuming you got all other cars beforehand.

Twin Mill III
Collect all 138 cars in the game (the Bone Shaker Unleashed and Cadillac Seville by Gucci do not count). You'll need all 65 Commons, all 30 Rares, all 18 Legends, all 15 Super Treasure Hunts, and 10 other Secrets. This will likely be your last car to get in the base game, and you'll get this right after getting the Tooligan as mentioned above. Worth collecting all the other cars just for this? That depends on who you ask for that.

Oldsmobile 442
Collect all 15 Super Treasure Hunts. Same deal as the other cars that need you to collect all cars in a specific rarity (it's still the best Secret rarity car, idc what people think).
Rockets
Rocket class cars specialize in speeding down very long straights, allowing you to catch up and pass other racers more quickly and having more grip at speed. However, you won't have a lot of boost to work with, so applying Boost Skills is advised. Race type of cars usually go in this category.

Fast Fish
Collect all 30 Rare cars. Take it for what it's worth. Decent reward for what it is, we've wanted to see this car in the first game, but now it's here in the second.
Heavy-Duties
Here is the Heavy-Duty class. You'll be able to smash through a lot of obstacles and withstand most modules with little to no interruptions with a ton of Boost to build up in these. The caveat is their mobility is limited, so Handling Skills are needed to make them work correctly. Vans and Monster Trucks belong in this category. Only Monster Trucks can drive through Barriers without speed loss.

Reach Prestige 1. For every 30 levels up to Prestige 9 for your Player Level, you'll gain a new Prestige Level. Upon reaching the first Prestige Level, you'll be able to redeem the Unleashed Mission for this (the most over-meme'd car in both games, I hate it).

Volkswagen Beach Bomb
Complete Creature Rampage mode. Beat all five Boos Races, that's really all there is to it. Use a fast car for these, since there will be times where you'll be barely saving yourself from failure by reaching the targets in time.
Off-Roaders
Off-Road vehicles can withstand and handle rougher and dirty terrains much more better than other cars, and they have faster Boost regeneration. They're not very agile, so you'll need to apply Handling Skills to make them better for corners. Quads and Jeeps fall into this category. Also the only class in the game that doesn't have a Super Treasure Hunt car and with the least amount of cars.

Collect all 18 Legendary cars in the base game. It's an alright reward, though I have to wonder why they need to emphasize on having yet ANOTHER variation of this car... I mean we all know that car is the mascot of Hot Wheels, Mattel. Thanks, guys...
Swifts
Swift cars specialize in lighter weight and extremely high acceleration when boosting, allowing you to perform quick maneuvers and get up to speed almost instantaneously. They can take on corners in style, too. Bikes and Street Cars are usually found in this category.

Street Noz
Win 5 races against Extreme difficulty AI. This can be tough to do, given the rubberbanding for the AI is on like Mario Kart levels at that difficulty just to make it more challenging to get 1st place. I advise driving on a track where you know a big shortcut or two and keeping your driving good for the whole thing. Remember, you only need to win against them 5 times to get this car.

Cadillac Seville by Gucci
The only Secret rarity car on this list to not have the spoiler format because it's available at the start of the game. There's no Unleashed Mission to unlock it, you're just given this car immediately.
DLC (Free/Pre-Orders)
DLC cars are add-ons that do not get added in the lineup of the base game roster. Instead, they start from the end of the Swift class and end at the start of the Drifter class. All DLC cars are Legendary rarity by default. They are ordered by pack and release date this time instead of mostly alphabetical like the first game while staying in the order of the base game's roster (Drifter > Balanced > Rocket > Heavy-Duty > Off-Road > Swift) at the same time. Pack and Class for each are in parenthesis.

I will be updating the DLC sections from time to time! Just remember to not spoil the DLC vehicles in the comments, or they will be deleted!

I've discovered that doing a local split screen race with both players setting their difficulty to Extreme counts towards the unleashed mission, even though you're not racing against any AI. It's a cheese strategy but probably still better than actually trying to deal with the cheat brigade.
