Conquest Mode will allow you to play with all four of the game’s Age of Sigmar armies in score-chasing challenge. Players will fight in 1×1 missions as they journey across a world map. So awaken your commander talents and lead armies into battle. Many achievements are tied to your success in this mode, so be prepared to spend a lot of time in it after completing the campaign.

Choose how to finish the game.
The game has three endings, which unfortunately cannot be obtained in one playthrough. In the game, you will have to make certain choices that unlock access to new missions and endings. Thus, you will need to complete the game at least three times or start from places where significant choices are made. Anyway, 3 different achievements in 3 separate endings are waiting for you here.

Dive in Multiplayer.
Bad news for those who like to get achievements alone: the game has multiplayer achievements. They are not complicated, but very time-consuming.

Spoiler Alert.
Unfortunately, in this guide we will have to talk a lot about mission walkthrough and many other things that reveal the story of the game. Therefore, if you want to play it yourself and not spoil your impression, then first go through the game on your own and come back when you are sure that you are ready to see spoilers.

Therefore, I ask you not to write in the comments about any spoilers that you saw here. You are responsible for yourself. Thank you!

Liberator/Knight-Vexillor/Lord-Celestant/Celestant-Prime

The story campaign consists of 18 missions. The difficulty can be changed between each of them, but to get the achievement you must complete all missions on one specific difficulty. Completing on high difficulties unlocks achievements with a lower difficulty level, so decide for yourself what difficulty you should start with and how many times you need to complete the game.

The game also supports chapter select so you can play through it at the desired difficulty level and then go through each mission separately on high difficulties.

Pathfinder

The first chapter of the game serves a kind of tutorial function. You will be introduced to the basic mechanics of squad control, key points, squad abilities, resources, as well as the rock-paper-scissors unit system on which the gameplay is built.

In the first part of the mission you play as a squad of scouts who explore the location, but are soon ambushed by orcs. After this, you take command of the main detachment with the participation of the main characters of our story.

You will need to recapture the captured territories and fight your way deep into the orc territories in search of captured brothers.

Met the Enemy

The first full-fledged mission in which we will be given control of our own base. Our task on this map is to capture three enemy points and gain a foothold on the map.

Additionally, we will be required to find and rescue 3 scout squads from the previous mission. These units will become additional support in our assault.

I strongly recommend heavily fortifying the second point before capturing the third. This is due to the fact that after you capture the third point, the mission will not end there. After capturing the points, an enemy hero will appear with a large detachment of opponents and they will attack your mid point, which will fall under their onslaught if you leave it without cover.

Force enemy hero to retreat in order to complete the mission.

Dead 'Uns Didn't Get Ya

The beginning of the mission continues with the introductory cinematic: you find yourself in the center of the map attacked by the hordes of undead. The first part of the mission is to protect Demechrios from advancing enemy units.

After you finish your defense, task will change to capture Victory Points. Three such positions will be located near your battle site. All three positions must be captured and held for two minutes. Capturing these positions affects the scale at the top of the screen - the longer you hold Victory Points, the weaker the enemy's spell.

The mission may seem significantly more difficult than the previous ones, but this is an illusion that is created due to the fact that you will have to act quickly. You have at your disposal a base and two Arcane Conduits to the west and east of it to capture, as well as an impressive supply of resources.

Your task while you are managing the army is not to forget to regularly replenish it with new troops, because Victory Points will be regularly attacked by enemy units. Split two heroes into distant Victory Points, and place the rally point of your base at the nearest point to gather your units there for reinforcement and protecting the 3rd Victory Point at once.

The situation can be complicated by the participation of an enemy hero, as well as an attempt by the enemy to attack your base, depriving you of reinforcements. In addition, in this mission you cannot allow the death of your heroes. But if you do everything correctly, the mission will end quickly and painlessly.

By the way I call these "pedestals" as Victory Points because their capturing is counted for Chosen Victor achievements and they marked with the same symbol on minimap.

Servant of the Blue Raven

Demechrios is trying to understand how safe the artifact that was discovered by the heroes in the previous mission is. To do this, he casts a spell that shows the past fate of the artifact and this leads us to the fact that in the next mission we control the Disciples of Tzeentch.

In this mission we can see some Tower Defense game. There are 6 Arcane Conduits located on the map, which are guarded by Nighthaunt units. You are given a timer before the expiration of which it is extremely important for you not only to capture as many of these same Arcane Conducts as possible, but also to build a special upgrade in their place - Attuned Tome of the Daemonic Simulacrum.

When the timer ends, Lord Gloam's squad will begin to move across the map from the lower left corner. He will be absolutely invulnerable and will have a huge amount of HP, which you can see at the top of the screen. Lord Gloam will move along a predetermined route. Your task is to prevent him from reaching the upper right edge of the map where your ally’s units are located. Only your buildings that you erected can cause damage to him; they will fire at Lord Gloam with clots of energy all the time that he is in their reach.

But be careful, Lord Gloam is not coming alone — he is followed by a whole army that will destroy your buildings and capture Arcane Conduicts back. Knowing this, you will need to wisely choose combat tactics depending on the mission difficulty and correctly distribute units in strategic positions.

I did not build any other structures on Arcane Conduicts other than those that deal damage to Lord Gloam and this allowed me to consistently damage him throughout his entire journey. Try to defend points as long as they can fire at the enemy hero and withdraw your troops as soon as the point loses its significance.

Reduce Lord Gloam's health to zero before he reaches the end of his path and the mission will end early.

Breathing Easy

The orcs were very surprised that our heroes were not torn to pieces by the undead and therefore they blocked the path to retreat from these ruined lands. At the beginning of the mission, you need to break through the barricade with your heroes (it is best to use Chain Lightning). After this you will be taken to the main map.

The objectives of this map are very simple and they coincide with the standard game mode: capture Victory Points and hold them until the number of enemy points drops from 750 to zero.

The Orcs will not stand still and most likely will very quickly capture at least two Points and begin to advance towards your base. Luckily you have three Victory Points and three heroes, disperse them in three different directions and start quickly replenishing your army. Upgrade your camp to the second level and build ballistas, orcs will often attack one or another Point, so a long-range defense weapon will come in handy.

It is best to capture all three Victory Points, because the more of them you control, the less time you will need to control them, but at a high level of difficulty this can be problematic and it makes sense to concentrate your forces on only two.

Don't think that the orcs will try to win fairly, one way or another they will give you problems. For example, at one moment a troll will appear on the map, which can cause a lot of trouble if you don’t kill it quickly.

In addition, near Victory Points there are rotten trees that will begin to cause mischief at the will of the orc shaman. They can be temporarily enchanted with Chain Lightning.

The additional goal of the mission will be to destroy at least three orc towers that are scattered around the map. You shouldn't get close to them because even your heroes can die very quickly from their shots. Chain Lightning and ballistas are perfect for destroying such towers, this will make your logistics and map control easier.

More Waagh, More Problems

The orcs blocked the path to retreat with their dark magic. Our heroes will have to retreat, regroup and decide what to do next.

Your main forces are on one side of the map, while your camp is under attack and is on the other side. Your primary task is to regain control of the camp. On your way there are several Arcane Conduits under enemy control. Despite this, you can take your time and calmly capture these points and slowly move towards the camp, destroying everything in your path. Your camp, despite constant attacks, can take care of itself for a while.

Once you regroup, the main goals of this chapter will not be much different from the previous one: capture Victory Points and reduce the enemy control points to zero. The map will twist a lot, so to make it easier to maintain control on it, try to capture the forks and focus your forces on them. Chain Lightning and Artifact Splash from Demechrios help a lot in this mission.

Orcs will often use Tier 2 units and ballistas in battle, so be prepared for frequent skirmishes.

An additional task here will be the numerous hound caves located throughout the map. Hound units will help the orcs attack your positions, so destroying these caves can make your defense easier.

Once again, the more Victory Points you capture, the shorter the mission will last. Take this into account when choosing the difficulty of the mission. At the end you will find a nice cinematic with an epic battle.

First to be Forged, Never to Fail!

In order not to risk the lives of her brothers in arms and allow Demechrios to deliver the artifact to the city, Sigrun diverts the attention of the orc warlord to himself. She knows that the orc is eager to put her head on a pike and is ready to do anything for this, but he does not know that Sigrun is not so easy to defeat.

In this mission you will not have your own base and the number of troops will be strictly limited, so take care of each unit and carefully think through your path through enemy territory so as not to find yourself in a dead end situation.

At first you find yourself completely alone and your task is to ruin the caves of the Orc hounds. Sigrun will have a new ability that unleashes bolts of lightning on enemies. This is an excellent ability against clusters of enemies, as well as enemy ballistas and towers, which can easily kill your warriors. Remember that in this mission you cannot let Sigrun die.

After this, you will need to make your way to the enemy Warboss's camp. On the way, several enemy fortifications will await you. The additional mission here will be to find allied units and help them get out, and this is the case when it is important to complete this task, because it will significantly facilitate the walkthrough.

Capture enemy fortifications and build structures on them to heal your units. Feel free to use your soldiers' Retreat ability more often if there is a risk of losing your entire squad. I really don’t recommend capturing the second point on the map head-on: there is a ballista on the ledge that will deprive you of both the army and the hero in a matter of seconds, go around or hit quickly and from afar. Sigrun's new ability will come in handy here.

It's nice to see that the game is not shy about reminding the player that there are no Mary Sues in the Warhammer universe. You are deep in enemy territory and you will not be able to capture and hold it with the strength of Sigrun and several units.

As soon as you capture a new point and build a healing structure on it, a large orc army will attack your previous point and take it back. Don't be afraid, they won't attack your only point that they just captured. They will just keep you a little tense.

At the second and fourth enemy points you will meet enemy shamans who will need to be defeated. The last shaman, despite the large health bar, will run away as soon as he loses 75% of his HP.

After defeating the shaman, all you need to do is destroy the two towers and lead Sigrun to the gate in the south-eastern part of the map.

Troggoff Troubles

Wild orc magic finally got out of control after the shaman's staff was broken. The greedy orc warlord wants to subjugate her, and therefore is looking for a way to restore the shaman's stick through a prayer to the orc god.

This cute giant freak will be a pain in your ass for the entire next chapter. To complete the mission you need to kill him, but this is not so easy. Every time you deal 50% damage to him, he flees and goes to his lair to regenerate, after which he attacks you again.

In order for the bastard not to run away, you need to capture all 5 Arcane Conducts. This will pin the troll to a dead end and you will finally be able to kill him. In order to effectively deal with him, reinforcements will be needed, so free the orc swordsmen from the cages and build new ones in your camp.

Once Troggoth is killed, the mission will be successfully completed.

Ingredients List

The ritual of restoring the staff has already begun, but it requires sacrifices. Fortunately (or not), some orcs betrayed Warlord Dankfeer, so they are perfect fuel for the ritual.

So your task in this mission is to catch up with 4 marked squads of traitor orcs. From each squad, only one orc will remain alive, which comes under your control. Take him to the shaman to throw him into the acid.

This is more difficult to do than it seems for a number of reasons. Firstly, this territory belongs to another Orc Warlord, who does not fear or respect our Dankfeer. Therefore, from time to time some of our units come under his control, which deprives us of troops and creates problems in random places on the map.

The enemy Warlord loves hounds, so there are also a lot of hounds here, from which hostile units appear, which often attack your positions and make it difficult to control the map.

But the biggest difficulty is that troops of enemy traitors will not stand still and wait for your reprisal. They will react to the movements of your troops and run away from you across the entire map, hiding behind enemy defenses. Therefore, in order to quickly complete the mission, you will have to deftly lure them into a trap or ensure complete control over the map.

Arcane Conduits are special strategic points on the map that look like a stone circle. They are the basis for the construction of various strategic structures that help you gain a foothold on the map and continue the offensive.

In order to capture Arcane Conduit, you just need to have at least one of your unit squads in the area of effect and wait a few seconds. In this case, there should be no enemy units nearby. For this achievement, the mode in which Arcane Conduit is captured is absolutely unimportant.

Chosen Victor

Victory points look like square pads with golden circles. You will often have to deal with these in multiplayer games and some singleplayer missions, because capturing them is required to win. Depending on the size of the map there can be 3-5 at once. The achievement counts every time you take control of them.

Bloodied Hammer/True Commander

In Main Menu go to Multiplayer — Create your profile/Login — Choose one of 3 available modes for this achievement. It's Quick game: Ranked 1v1 mode and Quick game: Custom 1v1/2v2 match.

You will get Bloodied Hammer achievement for the first victory in these modes and the you`ll have to win 99 more times for the True Commander achievement.

I can say that 2v2 matches are great because the current game modes do not require you to completely destroy you opponents as it may be in usual RTS games.

You just need to reduce the enemy team's points to zero by capturing the majority of Victory Points on the map. Thus, you just need to successfully gain a foothold, hold the defense against enemy forces and wait until the end of the match. Usually al multiplayer matches last for 15-20 minutes, so if you have a friend, you can develop a some strategies aimed at quickly expanding the map, capturing key positions and ending the match with a victory.

Feeding Shyish

A simple achievement that you will most likely unlock during the main story. The only thing worth taking into account here is that every individual warrior is considered as unit here, not an entire squad.
