Behold. Another ♥♥♥♥ty weapon from an even ♥♥♥♥tier show. This time made entirely by me, some cool beverages, and about 3 weeks of my time.

I honest to god had nothing better to do.


All this one has is bodygroups. There's an alternate sfm version that's a tad different. The dust 'shells' and the dust itself is what's bodygrouped. Includes 2 different variations of dust, that of which being original and then concept art (Concept art looked better. Now it looks like a rainbow pen). It also looks pretty good with just the shells. They're pretty much glass vials but with some vmt magic they look real nice in source.

No separate round models are included in the garrysmod version.

Oh and there's 2 version of everything included. A highpoly original and a lowpoly.



Hey ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I went back and polished this a fair bit.
-Far lower memory usage both in ram and on disk! About ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time too.
-Way less draw calls! (higher fps!)
-Model improvements and fixes!
-Improved specular masking.

It would also have magical glowing runes if garrysmod and material parameters got along.
They don't. Looks like that will remain sfm only.


If you plan to use these outside for source for any realtime engine, except maybe cryengine 3 since that handles highpoly models real nice, do contact me and for the love of god use the lowpoly. Normalmaps are handled differently per engine and source' method will look real off in, say, unreal. I actually know how to set them up; plus I have the originals without compression.
