Hi, you probably went into this game going "what on earth", and left it going "WHY?" well thats why I'm going to take you through this guide, because theres a way simpler way to solve this game. I have a background with puzzle games.

I'll cover guests, notes and will spoiler mark sections.

Welcome to the 1950s, to be more specific the end of world war II (A fact that will be important later) we find our selves at a wonderful mid expense french hotel. We follow sophie as she works and explores her daily job that she has done for multiple years.

Welcome to the 1957, 3 years after the war, you are in the allies land of france. A land riddled with political impass, you find yourself at a prestigious hotel. You follow a sophie a snooping curious maid who can't help but know everything. She and her coworkers make it there job to go through everyroom and clean up getting every scrap of dirt that there tenants leave behind

We learn about bernard, linda, wendy, jaque, and the hotel guests. this story follows there daily life and what they put up with.

We learn about bernard and linda sleeping together, wendy and jaques affairs, we see how the 2 couples compete with each other and even find lindas lingerie in bernards desk draw.

we learn about several guests and are required to use our skills to solve a crime inside the hotel we never really solve it by the way. If you have played through you will know what this means. Now we can actually shortcut some of these down to 3 things.

Guest 1
lieutenant Paul

This man, wonderful but fruity keep to himself very reserved because of his PTSD from world war 2 He has a quite a joy for photography after being discharged he became a private eye to pay his bills he has served afew jobs around and was following one of the his favourite writers (one of the other guests) and she tries to screw him over in the process

Guest 2
the Cruz's

this guest consists of 2 people. A married couple Mr and Mrs Cruz who are here to celebrate the anniversary of mrs beaument and mrs cruz's hooking up in primary school

they have very messy rooms because they are planning on getting divorced and were here on a retreat to save there marriage hosted at the hotel

Guest 3
Samuel Williams

this is the tutorial room, it has 3 teddy bears and all the mirrors are covered there was a massive fire all his kids died, Mr Cruz was his insurance agent

Guest 4
Mrs Beaumont
This guest is a regular at the hotel, sophie knows her well, and her son. that it's really literally only a plot device

These 4 guests are the base of the story.

now the game has 5 main endings

Guest 1 goes to jail or free.
Guest 2 and 4 go to jail
guest 3 goes to jail.
Sophie goes to jail
No one goes to jail

to clear guest 1 you just throw literally everything out in there room.
if you do not the game will always make them the number 1 suspect every time.

guest 2.
now this guest has some pretty nasty stuff you will find on them. there affairs will play main part. if you make the affair go away they go free.

guest 3.
the game made this one very complicated but this guest is pretty much a secret part of the game.
so for everyone that missed it, the combination appears several times in the game. 16th of February is in the sign in book, its on Mr Cruz's calendar circled, its on a few of the clues even. once you find the combination list you can open the safe

at the end you will be interrogated and what you did in your investigating will determine who's innocent or guilty.

So let's Uh address the elephant in the room.

Your are low rate minimum wage paid by the hour house keeper.

Your coworkers are big meanies, half of them are literally sleeping together

and you well you got this now.

there is a second side to this game.

the achievements are based on how well you do as a maid.

your actions at your job determine your coworkers outcomes.

Eugene the handyman, Wendy the waitress, and every office has a Linda.

if you close the window and remove the note for Bernard from Eugene, you will save his job

the note in Wendy's locker determines if Wendy or Linda get fired.

It's pretty simple, do good maid things you get a good review, do bad maid things, you get a bad review.

remove the letter in the type writer to determine if Bernard loses the hotel

continuous study of the photos from 505 has found that the picture show Mrs. Beaumont taking and drinking wine. previously we thought it was a maid, but we believe that this person was dressing up to slip hidden notes in other rooms.

blood found at the ice machine was found to be Pauls and it was also found on the end of the ice pick.

The information found to be given by Sophie was very false and lead to a lot of misplaced investigation power.

On subject of other guests we believe there were a lot of missed information, our team will be double checking for pseudonym names that may offer more of an detailed description of what happened at this hotel.
