USCM Kestrel Mk2 - for Kemono

Description
Replaces default Kestrel ship with it's USCM Mk2 counterpart for the Kemono.
Not much else to say really. It's a good ship.

To change ship mid-playthrough:
Move everything you want saved from your old ship to a planet, save and quit the game, open the "\player" folder located at "[Steam Install]\steamapps\common\Starbound\storage\player", click "Date modified", then rename the topmost file with a ".shipworld" extension to ".shipworld_bak" (if you don't have the file extensions set to visible, google how to do that for Windows, it'll be worth it, trust me), and run the game again. Once you beam back to the ship it should change automatically.
If you encounter any errors you can always replace the newest ".shipworld" for that character with ".shipworld_bak" by deleting and then renaming.

Same ship, but for the Glitch - here
Wan't something even bigger? Try out USS Polaris!

Enjoy

Done, added a link just above in description. Since it was for a default race it was slightly more involved anyways, so it was just simpler like that.

What race do you want the Kestrel for? I'll port it for you and publish it on the Workshop so you can try porting stuff at your own time.

Lines for the text files, keep the quote marks.
For Unpacker:
"win32\asset_unpacker.exe" "mods\contents.pak" "mods\unpack"

For Packer:
"win32\asset_packer.exe" "mods\unpack" "mods\contents.pak"

Copy it to the [mods] folder in the Starbound install place.
Then in the [Starbound] folder itself make 2 text (.txt) files, name them something like "Packer" and "Unpacker".
And then copy the lines of code, 1 line per file, from that guide I linked below.
Then just rename them from (.txt) into (.bat), run the "Unpacker" file and continue from the previous posts. It's just one folder to rename in there and that's it.

If you don't have file extensions (.txt and .bat, etc.) visible then I'm afraid you'll have to google the guide for that, they are thankfully billions.

I found the .pak file but I’m lost on what to do next

From what I've found all players just need to have the "asset mismatch" checked in the options menu, and have the mod installed and it'll be fine.
