Description
This is a size and performance accurate replica of the atlas/able launch vehicle developed in 1956 by CDGD (The Convair Division of General Dynamics.)

The atlas / able was a early launch vehicle that consisted of the lower stage of an atlas missile and the far smaller upper stages of an able missile. It also features an odd half staging techneque for the main booster.

This thing is massive for such a small payload, It flew 6 times from 1952 to 1961, and had a 66% sucess rate.
