Thanks for the guide. I looked at it once when I first started playing, and it felt a little overwhelming at that time. After quite a bit of playtime, I came back to look again and it basically just confirmed my established strategy; that was gratifying. Anyway, I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on my priority system, and any differing opinions you may have!
I have found Frost Taunt on the tank to be indispensable. Even with an off tank, there have been certain setups and situations where a DPS or healer may take too much damage too fast and die. Though, my preferred team comp is Tank, DPS, Support, and Healer. My experience thus far has led me to a strategy whereby I purchase almost exactly what you have listed in your guide, but by a priority system.
My purchase priorities in order (aside from rare exceptions) are:
1. Rush Taunt III ASAP to save the team.
2. Class specific items.
3. Damage.
4. Healing.
4. Utility.
Some examples of exceptions in priority:
- Classes still need to be acquired (early game).
- Desirable level 2/3 items appear in portal.
- Run specific elements. (E.g. dying too quickly or not doing enough damage.)
- Lower level items appear that enable merging. (To equip, or for inventory management.)
- Desirable classes appear in shop.
I have played around with some setups and updated Ninja with a better build
1. I really like Taunt on the MT. It saved my backup so often.
2. The Assassin/Ninja is one of the best and easy to built offtanks. He has so much evasion and flies around the battlefield with the best and easy dps to built in the whole game.
Sry the Ninja is the best, in the End he could even be the main tank.
