Scavenging

Description

Scavenging works similarly to deep drilling, but it uses scavenging job instead of mining.
Placing scavenging spot on unsupported terrains will not prevent pawns from working on them, but will not yield any resources.
Some items are less likely to drop than others.

Q: Is it compatible with CE?
A: I don't use CE so I don't know.

Q: Can you make it compatible with X mod?
A: If you link the mod in the comments section I will take a look into it.

@Protok My idea was an alternative way to get some resources in the early game and giving not very useful pawns something to do in the later stages of a playthrough. And also it was just fun making it.

Thanks. I started a playthrough with Scavenging mod. What was your idea while making this? To help colony in bad terrain? Or to roleplay neolithic way? I mean it seems not much value to do scavanging, because there is much more things which are important and more valuable for colony.

@Protok If I remember correctly almost all vanilla non-DLC terrains are supported and that's it. I will update it so it tells you where you can place the spot in the future.

Hello. "Placing scavenging spot on unsupported terrains" - How do I find out which terrains supported and wich don't?
Romyashi  [author] 14 Jul @ 6:32am
@ElectricSkull All I can recommend is that you try to pinpoint what causes it. If some other mod is causing this then I wouldn't be able to fix it as it's not my mod's issue.

hmm, how can i send my mod list to see if that help?
Romyashi  [author] 14 Jul @ 1:13am
@ElectricSkull Cannot recreate this behaviour with this mod alone.

I don't know if this is a bug, but the pawn will use the spot without stopping unless you draft them to stop. They will literally starve themself.
