Walkthrough
I've broken it out into two sections. The first at 14 talent points is getting to Compression 10 and earning your last few talent points. The second at 17 talent point is clearing Compression 10 and finishing the game.

Rockets are your main damage dealers, and you just want as many modifiers as possible. Acid, fire, frost, acid, and zyge are all necessary. We have lots of guns and bombers mostly to proc timeshift. Fire breath is to proc timeshift. Timeshift is critical to maximize GEET. (it also helps keep arrows stocked).

I haven't done the math but this is what worked for me. Upgrades are in Italics

Getting to Compression 10
Talents (14 points) in order:


Row 1: Motivation, Runner Backstop, Extra Housing, Bathe In Fire
Row 2/3: Gatling Balloon, Timeshift Delivery
Row 4/5: Future to the Back, Project Constellation, Rocket Gatler, Frostfire, Return to Sender, Deals, Reclamation Mitigation, Arrows' Last Hurrah

Gnorps and upgrades:
House of Shards: every building
The Express (35 gnorps, could be less but it'll take longer): no inspiration, ~30ish capacity, max speed, 60% GEET is showing (only 50% purchased), breaktime, delivery rush
Slam Club (25 gnorps): Runner Inspiration, NO WARM UPS, max combo chance, Fire Breath, meditation set to off.
GPL (25 gnorps): Timeshift Impact x1-3, Ultra Boost, Concentration
Archery Range: Zybe, but buy fire + ice for free housing
Rock Analysis Lab: all upgrades
Gun vs Rock (6 gnorps):set to ice, 0 Gatlegnorp, Grenade Launcher, Sticky Floral Residue
Shrine: Power
Garden: green only, flower power, enriched puke
Rockets: 6x+6y

Zyge spent (9 total, 8 compression events before you face the 10th bar, and also the free one from the Talent threshold):
1 in Shard Stash: Additional Housing
1 in Slam Club: Fire Breath
1 in GPL: Timeshift Impact
2 in Archery Range for Zybellium Arrows.
2 in Garden: One to build and another for Flower Power
1 in Rock Analysis Lab: Reclamation Nullification
1 for a Zygnorp

no mountaineers but I built the building for housing (drones provide no housing so are skippable.)

This should get you to compression 10 with only 14 talent points, but won't be able to clear compression 10. To do that, you need to get enough talent points to unlock the final tier and ascend one more time. To earn that extra 3 talent points, spend your last Zybe on a Zygnorp, build some drones, and try to push rocket upgrades.

Beating Compression 10
Talents (17 points) in order:
Row 1: Extra Housing, Bathe in Fire
Row 2/3: Bullet Breath, Gatling Balloon, Timeshift Delivery, Explosive Exposition
Row 4/5: Future to the Back, Rocket Gatler, Frostfire, Return to Sender, Deals, Reclamation Mitigation
Row 6/7: Don't Eat That, Operation Pocket Rocket, Agitated Zybe, Gnorpcalibur, Vulnerability Improvement



Gnorps and upgrades:
House of Shards: every building
The Express (20 gnorps): Zyngorp inspiration, 40 capacity, max speed, Max GEET, breaktime, delivery rush
Slam Club (20 gnorps): We do this just to proc fire. Runner Inspiration, NO WARM UPS, max combo chance, Fire Breath, meditation set to off.
GPL (40 gnorps): We do this to timeshift runners and arrow makers. We want to maximize geet. Timeshift Impact x2, Ultra Boost, Concentration, Pocket Rockets. Weakspot inspiration
Archery Range: This is the only way to get the Zybe debuff on the rock. Zybe, but buy fire + ice for free housing.
Rock Analysis Lab: all upgrades
Gun vs Rock (9 gnorps): We do this to proc ice. 9 gunners purchased, set to ice, 1 Gatlegnorp, Gattlenorp Ammo, Grenade Launcher, Sticky Floral Residue.
Shrine: All three
Garden: This is the only way to get the acid debuff on the rock. Green only, flower power, enriched puke.
Rockets: Main damage dealer. Upgrade as soon as possible. 8x+8y, Vulnerability.
Academy: The first one is worth it to make your runners geet a little faster + accumulate shards needed to build railgun. We have the zybe to spare for the last acension. 1 Zygnorp , Runner Inspiration, Drone Attunement
Drones: three drones with Terathrusters, rocket inspiration
Mountaineers: none, build for housing.

Zyge spent (12 total, 8 compression events before you face the 10th bar, and the free 1 from the Talent threshold, and 3 more from Agitated Zybe):
1 in Shard Stash: Additional Housing
1 in Slam Club: Fire Breath
2 in GPL: Timeshift Impact x2
2 in Archery Range for Zybellium Arrows.
2 in Garden: One to build and another for Flower Power
1 in Rock Analysis Lab: Reclamation Nullification
1 in Academy for a Zygnorp
1 in Gun vs Rock for a Gattlegnorp
1 in YX1-AB for Vulnerability

When you're close to compressing the final tier, you could destroy your drones but I didn't need to. My final ascension took about an hour. Total playtime 12 hours including trial and error and all achievements.

Thanks for the tips, it helped me out alot. However, I did deviate a bit from your build halfway through and finished the game in just over 12 hours in total, without any issues using Supershatter. My talent build for the last run was:

1: Runner backstop, Extra housing
2/3: Timeshift delivery, Gatling Balloon, Notes (didnt use Directors at compression 10 though)
4/5; Future to the back, Future: Constellation, SuperShatter, Rocket gatler, Frostfire, Deals, Reclamation Mitigation
6/7: Dont eat that (didnt need drones at Comp 10), Vulnerability Empowerment, Operation Pocket rocket, Agitated Zybe (get your 3 extra zybelliums as early as possible, i got mine after comp 2, 3 and 4), Gnorpcalibur Unleashed.

Considering I didnt use drones nor directors in the final run, perhaps these two talents (Notes and Dont eat that) can be used elsewhere for a more optimized build.

The bullet breath does seem to override the fire breath, so I'm not sure if this build is quite working as well as initially calculated

Bullet Breath seems to negate Fire Breath. My Slammers are almost continuously spitting bullets but, never fire. So the Rock doesn't light on fire and get the effects of both fire and ice. Still beat the game with this method though.
