Disable Mine Detector Side Panel

Description
Disables the Side Panel for the Mine Detector.

Very simple event handler that disables the mine detector panel that is accessed through the [ and ] keys (by default). It still beeps like normal. Intended to be used with ACE, alongside or in place of their mine detector. With the panel enabled, mines and IEDs are a minor inconvenience, since the panel shows you exactly where the threat is. Now, without the panel, players will need to tread cautiously and visually acquire the threat. Alternatively, players can lug around the ACE Mine Detector and check specific areas. But if you don't want to look like a clown with a selfie stick every time you enter a building/compound, you can now just use the vanilla one without feeling like you're cheating or overpowered.

Works with all landmines/explosives place-able in Zeus, as well as player placed explosives. Just have to know what you're doing XD

Listen man, I have played the game for 10x longer than you based on your hours. I'm fairly certain I know what I'm talking about. Regardless, your issue isn't even with what this mod addresses, this mod does not change anything about the mine detector logic, just hides the panel. And I guarantee you that hidden explosives show up on the mine detector if correctly created. The only way an explosive won't show up on the detector is when a mission maker or zeus goes out of their way to make it so, which means no detector will pick it up.

you have never used a Zeus module have you? or dealt with explosives with the definition of "hidden".

Placed and buried IEDs still show up on the detector as long as they are still classified as explosives in-game. Literally all explosives that are defined as explosives in-game, show up on the detector, because that is what it is coded to do. If something is not showing up on the detector, then it's not defined as an explosive in-game, and I doubt any other detector will detect it unless your IED mod has some proprietary detector that uses it's own logic and came with the IED mod.

Not placed IEDs, which is the things that are more dangerous and used more often by Zeus's. or buried IEDs.

The vanilla mine detector beeps for ALL explosives (including those that aren't mines or IEDs). If it is not beeping for a specific explosive, then it's an issue with the explosive itself, not the detector.

you understand the thing only beeps with SOME explosives? anyone who uses this might as well just not take a minedetector in the first place.
