Description
WHAT IT DOES


This mod makes infantry fight in close order rather than loose, open order of vanilla.

Infantry units are given with new default attack animations aimed at keeping them in formation

and long, exaggerated animations that made units break formation are now gone.

With new update, combat animations are tweaked to provide following features.

- Infantry will try to stay in place while performing attacks and defenses, preventing them from

interfering with one another or ending up in the middle of enemy formation during combat

- Removes Hollywood style brawls, keeping only short and efficient animations

- Also introduces some new attack animations

hey megamex, would you consider combining our two mods into one? the mod I'm suggesting the the mk1212 battle overhaul mod I made long time ago which I recently updated.

This mod is superb, thanks for all the work. I'm sorry to say this now crashes my game (I've tested and when I run the game with just this it crashes the game)
I hope it can be fixed because this mod really improves the game, thanks again

That's amazing! I was hasty to judge the mod without trying. I'll check how you managed to make a work around the issue. :D

But this mod does not add formed attack or any aspect of it. I too understand how weird fight would look with formed attack ability. All this mod does is making units close the gap while engaged and has nothing to do with awkward regrouping feature of formed attack. You'll know if you try this mod!

So this is essentially adding formed attack but removing matched combat. It's great in theory but because of the way the game engine is coded it makes sieges buggy. :(

Yes i recommend putting it last. Still, there can be mod compatibility problem if you're using mods other than this and mk1212. So try deactivating other mods if you keep coming across problems.

crashed my game ,but it was old save,is there an order i hv to place it at mod order?i put it last
