Description

This mod adds the Terrazi Troop from Ridge Racer Type 4 as a standalone vehicle. It comes as a road car and a Real Racing Roots variant, featuring the liveries of R4's racing teams. The road car supports Paint Your Ride, allowing you to repaint the car any color in-game.

The Troop features:

Standard road car, with Paint Your Ride support
Real Racing Roots race car, with the liveries of all 4 racing teams
Full set of animations with interior
Custom mechanics UI
Addon parts: roll cage, spare tire, and license plates
All parts (brakes, suspension, etc.) visible on the model
(Optional) Unique bodywork parts, with world models for decoration

A flagship sports car for Japanese manufacturer Terrazi, the Troop was powered by a modest 2.0L I4 turbocharged engine. Though most of its competitors used larger, more powerful engines, the Troop still managed to keep the pace thanks to its superb handling. The Troop can be found where most sports cars spawn. If using Vehicle Spawn Zones Expanded, the Troop can also spawn in exotic spawn zones, while the RRR variant can spawn at racing spawn zones.

@Zanx Armor requires custom code to function, and I'm not a programmer. I can do the models/textures and work with the game's scripts, but I can't write code from scratch. The existing armor systems out there for some mods all have different functionality and implementation, and sometimes I just want to make a simple mod with no external requirements.

Could you tell me why it is, that people/you make mods with so nice looking cars, but doesn't make it so it can have just a bumber, so you can atleast drive it without hitting 1-5 zombies and total it. Love your mods and love your designs, just feels bad that I cant get myself to drive them in fear of destroying them.

Hello, can you convert a vanilla sports window for this vehicle? I broke a window but it specifically says I need the Terrazi. Or do i just have to find it them in the world? Thanks

@requin13 Yeah, the Ridge Racer stuff (and other fictional cars) are probably gonna be kept separate from MZ.

@big bad big balla gangsta man wh R4's got so many great cars in it, there's so many I want to do. I definitely want to do the Dirigeant and Detector go with the Bisonte and Troop, but will probably do a few more after.

@Golden_scythe341 I'm focusing on RRT4 at the moment because of its 25th Anniversary, but there are some others from other games I'd like to do at some point.

Thanks y'all! This is pretty niche for PZ, but RRT4 is one of my favorite racing games so I wanna represent it in some way
