So the developers at Twisted Pixel didn't create an option in menu to switch your framerate or cap the framerate. This causes instabilities and other issues with the game if it is not supported to run at higher framerates. The game is uncapped and without a way to cap frames per second it prevents the game from working properly.

Step 1

Right-Click on your Desktop and open NVIDIA Control Panel.
Once NVIDIA Control Panel is open, on the left side click Manage 3D Settings.

(If Manage 3D Settings is not available, you will have to click Adjust image settings with preview and click Use Advanced 3D Settings and then Apply)

Step 2

On the right side click the tab that says Program Settings.
On Select a Program to customize, select mssplosionman.exe

(If cannot find it, click Add and search for the application, or click Browse and search for the Steam path where mssplosionman.exe is located.)

Step 3

Scroll down on program settings and on Max Frame Rate set the frames to either 120 FPS or 60 FPS depending on your PC. Then click Apply.

(You can use the slider or type in the FPS value manually in the white box.)

Step 4

Launch the game, and you're done.

Thank you so much, your solution worked out great! We decided to play recently and the characters were stuck on one spot not moving sometimes, capping the framerate at 120 fps solved the issue. You are the legend :)
