DISCLAIMER: THIS WAS MADE IN 2 WEEKS BY ONE PERSON WITH NO PREVIOUS RIVALS MODDING EXPERIENCE, DO NOT EXPECT A FINISHED CHARACTER

This is best described as a ~75% complete prototype for a concept I had - it's missing a few features and I'm not convinced the kit meshes together especially well, but I'd rather upload it and ask for feedback than not.

(About the missing features: the pebbles the character creates were originally meant to bounce off of one another when they had an active hitbox, and down tilt, back air, all three strong attacks, and neutral special were intended to temporarily charge the pebbles, increasing their damage/knockback and causing them to charge pebbles they bounced off of. Just didn't get everything working in time.)

I may or may not continue developing this, depending on personal stuff. Got a few ideas on stuff I want to tweak, mainly to make it less derivative of Mollo's bombs.

The initial story idea, based on my extremely limited knowledge of Rivals lore, was that the character would be a stone or metal construct based on an anteater (hence the placeholder taunt image), a remnant of an ancient Earth-aligned civilization predating the Rock Wall that had fallen dormant with said society's collapse - little more than an inorganic underground worker bee that was never meant to leave the narrow confines in which it worked, let alone see the light of day. With a freak reactivation (perhaps set in motion by some other plot event), it would be reintroduced into the world with none of its previous, highly confined existence intact and have to navigate both the entirely different world in which it now existed and its poor understanding of life outside its own limited experiences.

surprised that someone sought out and played nadir at this point but i do really appreciate it
i recently started working on another prototype after dealing with some mental health stuff, nadir is in the backlog but i'd like to revisit the project should the opportunity present itself
i think the prototype's design is a bit cluttered and more derivative of mollo than it should be, but the concept as a whole has a lot of stuff i still like

Thanks. I've had some other things to take care of recently, but Nadir is on the list of things I want to work on regularly, even if I can only spare a little time every week.

I may be laughing at the fact that I'm playing as literally just a square that turns into an anteater sometimes right now, but I'm sure when enough time passes Nadir's gonna be a banger character when finished.
