Sign - 'Czarny Punkt'

Today, something unique. This is a 'Czarny Punkt' sign. It warns drivers that a lot of accidents, involving deaths (or not) have occured on that road. However, Polish Ministry of Infrastructure conducted a 'test' on those locations. It turned out that around 70% of drivers have accelerated in those locations rather than slowing down. In 2003 those signs were made prohibited to place down, and since 2007 polish government launched a program called 'Droga Zaufania' (Road of Trust) which goal was to invest more in safety of road infrastructure.
