Description

Created by amazing mod tester and developer Vonkaja

How many times would you have liked to deploy the Elite Forces of one of the Major nations on the battlefield?
ELITE FORCES allows you to do this with the right balance between historicity and playability.
In reality, some nations had Elite Forces composed of single battalions (but also deployed at company level), others of regiments, others of divisions, or a mix of the three options starting at the beginning of the war as a battalion and then becoming a line division.
With ELITE FORCES, each Major nation, including AI-managed nations, will field four lightweight divisions over the years.

- Each division has a combat width of 10 and is made up of 8 new Elite battalions specifically designed for each nation, plus two new artillery/anti-tank support battalions of the same size for each nation for approximately 8,000 men.

These Battalions are automatically researched, and new ones cannot be trained, like Divisions whose template is "locked.""

- All Battalions are considered "Special Forces", and can parachute, make landings and operate in the mountains.
Each nation's elite regiment has slightly different values , especially as regards capabilities in different terrains (the Japanese in the Jungle, the English in the desert, etc.).

- We then create four new Support companies: CommandHQ, FlameThrower, Sniper, and Mortar.
The first two are inserted by default in the five support companies of each division; the other two in the second 5 companies will be added to the divisions if a MOD modifies the number of companies used. The MOD "Better Mechanics: DIVISION DESIGNER" is 100% compatible.

The "CommandHQ" Company aims to raise the level of organization that would otherwise be five or worse: 10 companies would be too low for an "elite Force."
All companies have no technology tree and cannot be used in other divisions.
AI will also have divisions with ten companies in this case.

The four divisions of each nation will be released from 1938 until 1943 according to a historically compatible calendar that is different for each nation (see the deployment chart for details).

- Even the names of the individual divisions try to respect the war events.

The first division deployed for each nation will have the maximum equipment and experience; these values will decrease in subsequent divisions to respect the historical difficulty of hiring elite veterans.

- A "light" version does not consider the "Special Forces" regiments. Still, suppose this does not affect the number of total battalions for the "Special Forces" on the other hand. In that case, the values will not increase with the growth of technologies dedicated to the "Special Forces". To you, the choice.

- Elite Forces was designed to start in 1936; we will see include the starting from 1939 in the next release
