this mod is only for friends

the graphics are not pleasing but i guess its usable though it has some issues said at the end.


adds 3 soft body armors, 1 plate carrier, 2 plates to insert 1 modular armor and 2 attachments
the system works like this:
if the armor has a protection value of: 20
and the bullet deals under or exactly 20 damage then the person will take no damage and the armor looses durability based on damage.
if the bullet deals just above 20 damage then the person will take 50% of the bullets damage and the armor looses durability based on the damage (original damage not the one decreased by 50%)
if the bullet deals twice the armor value then the bullet will deal a maximum of 100% of the damage it gives, the armor, as ususal, takes the full durability damage.
the closer the bullet is to the two times damage the less damage reduction it gets affected by*
the formular for the 'damage multiplier' is totaldamage / (armor value*2)
the 'damage multiplier' max is 1

* also take blunt force trauma damage when hit whilst wearing soft body armor, if hit whilst carrying a plate and the shot dealt a large amount of damage but still doesnt penetrate, you also take blunt damage.*

the modular armor only has the top middle and bottom spaces usable, (any containers to the side are non fillable for now, yeah ik needs changing)

biggest issue yet: due to barotrauma the undersuits damage reduction is applied first befor the armor calculates the damages. this results in shots that should pen the armor not penning due to the suit that is UNDER the armor reducing the damage first. I cannot find a good way to fix this issue so i am not sure i can continue this mod.

so its basically discontinued.
(also this was the first mod i made so the code is disgusting. better just start a new mod if you wanna make it yourself than try and use this as a basis.)
