(AMD) FPS and stutters fix 2024/2025
By 🅱erry Seinfeld
TLDR

1. Enable Radeon Super Resolution in your AMD software.

Open the game.

2. Change your resolution in-game to anything lower than your monitors native resolution.

Why no use upscaling in game? The in-game upscaling is broken, produces a much less sharp image than super resolution when it shouldn't.

3. Enable Vsync in game. (Even if you have a freesync monitor)

4. Under Audio settings, change the "output settings" to 7.1ch / 5.1ch.

5. Set the frame rate cap to 60 at first, check stability, and if primarily running significantly more smooth already, change your cap as desired though I recommend sticking to 60 as there still seems to be hiccups here and there.

Enjoy.

I have absolutely no idea why vsync in this game seems to fix the stutters, however its description says "When enabled, frame dropping is suppressed", and when I have it enabled / disabled I notice a massive difference.

My specs:
RX 5700XT
Ryzen 5 3600
16gb of DDR4 RAM cl16s at 3200mhz

thanks! Works great. RX 7800 XT, Ryzen 7 3700, 64Gb. It was stuttering a lot before. This helped a lot!
