It's a script for users with multiple monitors that automatically switches your main display to your game's stretched resolution before launching the game and then reverts back to your native resolution when you close CS2. Your other monitors will keep their native resolution when this happens.

This allows you to play CS2 stretched in fullscreen windowed and easily navigate your other monitors without having to endure a black screen any time you alt+tab!

2) Navigate to "CS2 Stretched Launcher\scripts\" and right click "cs2_sl.bat" and edit with notepad.

3) Edit line 2 so it fits your preferred 4:3 stretched resolution. For example, if you play CS2 at 1280x960, line 2 will look like this: QRes.exe /X 1280 /Y 960

4) While still on line 2, set the /R parameter to your monitor's refresh rate. For example, if your monitor is 144hz, line 2 will now look like this when everything is set: QRes.exe /X 1280 /Y 960 /R 144

5) Next, navigate to line 10 (QRes.exe /X 2560 /Y 1440). Change the numbers after /X and /Y to your monitor's native resolution. If you're on 2560x1440, you can leave it as is. If you were on 1920x1080, it's going to look like this: QRes.exe /X 1920 /Y 1080

6) Save the file and you should be good to go!

• You can right-click the "cs2_sl_hide.vbs" file and select "Create Shortcut". Name it whatever you want, place it wherever you want, and give it whatever icon you want it to have! I've included the CS2 logo ico file to make it easy.

7) Run "cs2_sl_hide.vbs" or the shortcut anytime you want to play CS2. It should change your monitor resolution to the one you want and then launch the game! Enjoy switching between monitors without having to wait for a black screen every time!
