All I did was load up my good ending save and head back to chapter 6, fast forwarding everywhere. The text skip stopped when that choice came up, which means it was a new option that hadn't come up before.
Given the way the true ending is structured and skims over certain things I am inclined to think that it, in fact, does require having seen the Good Ending, I'm just curious if you need a chapter select save or if loading a file would work as well because it's all saved to the main menu anyway, and was wondering if you went that far checking?
