My MK2 is 30m. 16m sounds like a fun and challenging project.

Always went full speed of 19-20kts. Ripped out the room heating system using engine heat, didn't work too well. I plan on doing a 16m, 32m and 64m version of trawlers once I've got this one ironed out.

You hit a pretty good pocket of tuna. I just build my MK2 version of my boat. 6 wider and 20 longer to allow for a 30 3x3 net 8k storage. Wow, does it pull in more fish. Jumps 15 fish at a time. How fast do you trawl, speed?
