Sleepy's Pharmaceuticals - Glittermed

Description

Sleepy's Pharmaceuticals - Glitterworld Medicine
Modding is easier together, this mod is licensed under CC0 1.0 UNIVERSAL[creativecommons.org].

A standalone addon to my Sleepy's Pharmaceuticals mod. I love the drug mechanics in this game but I wanted to be able to have more late game drug options.

I love to add content to this game that I feel is missing or that I'd like expanded. I figure that if I enjoy what I've added, others may too so I to post my mods to the workshop. Balance is critical to me as I am a vanilla player and I'll try to ensure nothing is unbalanced but ultimately I have a goal in mind for the content I am adding so what I consider balanced may not always be what you'd consider balanced. Hopefully you enjoy the mod none the less.

You can find the stats of all drugs added by Sleepy's Pharmaceuticals - Glitterworld Medicine here:

What Does This Mod Add?
12 New Pharmaceuticals:
- 6 Medical Drugs
- 1 Social Drugs
- 3 Hard Drugs
- 1 Exotic Drugs (Trade or Reward Only)

New material:

Roadmap:
- Balancing.

Dependencies:
- Not dependant on additional content. The DLC specific drugs for Biotech and Ideology will only be added if the mod detects those DLC are installed.

On Going Games:
- Safe to add to an ongoing game
- It may cause issues if removed from an existing save (consider starting a new game to see if you are happy with the content). The game will delete all the content added and give a one time error but I'd be worried existing addictions might cause problems with world pawns.

Compatibility
- My mod does not override any core content so should be compatible with most if not any mods that change the medical system, override drugs or add drug content.

Integrated Compatibility:
None at the moment (hasn't been necessary).

Conflicts
None yet detected.

Known Issues
No known issues.

Language Support
English (Always Current)(Developed in this Language)

Please post any issue reports to my Github. I appreciate any feedback but please keep in mind I have a goal in mind for the content I am adding so what I consider balanced may not always be what you'd consider balanced.

Hey @Twilight, should be fixed now, you'll need to select Nanites for existing stockpiles/shelves (under manufactured category now) but it is at least there. Sorry about that!

Just got some Nanites and seems I cant store them anywhere. Think the item needs a category?

wow this page is probably the most fleshed out and well done you've ever done, as a rimworld player with 5,000 hours I applaud your efforts

@blue, i did just realise the source code isn't in the mod so I will fix that now (it is on the github) but yeah you'll see no performance issues from the code alone. About 20 lines of C# code that only fires only when Technica is taken by a pawn which then tells the game to try and trigger the creativity inspiration. Nothing in the mod using comptick or constantly checking for something. At least I haven't noticed anything and I have been testing this for awhile now.

@whenwrašk Definitely a missed opportunity, Eureka (from sleepys pharmaceuticals) was suppose to be Technica at first but at the time I didn't know quite how to get it to work. Eventually got it to work when working on this mod so seemed safer to just add it here instead.

I second this question
blue 25 Feb, 2024 @ 8:55pm
has this mod been optimized?
whenwrašk 25 Feb, 2024 @ 6:56pm
should name the creative inspiration pill Eureka, but that's just my two cents

more like Moderate Addictiveness to this mod
