While hoping for the developer to provide official support...

Utilities required:
1. SUWSF (Compulsory) - https://github.com/PhantomGamers/SUWSF
This tool is required to temporary break the game's field of view and aspect ratio.

2. Magpie (Optional for borderless mode) - https://github.com/Blinue/Magpie
This tool is required for scaling.

SUWSF
1. Locate the game folder.
(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Complete Edition\app_digister)
2. Drop dsound.dll, SUWSF.asi and SUWSF.ini into game folder.
3. Rename dsound.dll to dinput8.dll.
4. Edit SUWSF.ini and setup the patching accordingly.
5. Remove these file if you no longer wish to run the game in ultra-widescreen.

Driver based - full-screen mode
1. Set desktop resolution to 16:9 (1920:1080 for 1080p or 2560:1440 for 1440p, 4K doesn't work)
2. Perform GPU scaling to fill screen
3. Always start the game using matching (or lower) resolution
Magpie - borderless mode
1. Configure scaling based on preferred scaler.
(FSR, NIS or any scaler)
2. Set scaler to fill screen.
3. Setup profile for the game.
4. Select scaler for the game configured earlier.
5. Select graphics capture.
6. Recommend to enable V-sync in Magpie.
7. Refer to Magpie Github for more info.
Game application
1. Run the game.
2. Set the display to full-screen mode.
3. Exit the game.
4. Always run the game in full-screen mode.
(Note: Game must start in full-screen mode for vert- to work)
[For borderless mode]
3a. Maintain 21:9 ultrawide desktop resolution aspect ratio (2560:1080 for 1080p and 3440:1440 for 1440p)
5. Set the game to borderless mode after step 4, always.
6. Press Windows+Shift+A.
