Description
The Phoenix Embassy was created to be the face of the Phoenix Republic. It hosts several offices and quarters for diplomats from all over the solar system.

The Embassy also serves as a trading floor between other factions, with a central trading floor complete with merchant stalls. Those who rent these stalls will also gain access to their own apartments above the stalls for the duration of their stay. They will be able to take advantage of our cargo hold access storage, where they can transfer cargo directly from their ships to the back of their stores.

There are three main docking arms allowing ships to dock and drop off personnel and visitors. If the docking arms are all occupied or ships are incompatable with the design, shuttles can be dispatched to pick up personnel and drop them off on any of the 6 external landing pads. In addition to these, the station is outfitted with 8 additional docking ports for ship refueling.

Passengers arriving at the station will be quickly processed through security at any of the three arms, from where they may proceed to any of the cafeterias or rest areas inside the terminal ring. Further in, they can access the trading floor. Anyone seeking to access the tower with the embassy offices and other areas will need special clearance.

The station is patrolled by several converted Condor Corvettes outfitted with Docking Authority equipment. These ships regulate the flow of traffic to and from the station, and contain a small amount of defenses for emergency situations.

Aside from the Condors, there are several other ships present in the immediate area:

Bluebird Interceptors can be launched from the station to escort ships to the appropriate docking ports.

A Corax cruiser lies in wait nearby to bring its firepower to bear on any who threaten the station's security.

A Crane Military Surveillance Vessel hides within the asteroid field, monitoring all communications and traffic for any suspicious threats.

Note that this file is quite laggy, so if you don't have the greatest computer i would suggest copy and pasting the station to an empty world and/or lowering your settings.

Thanks to Zeratul for his help and suggestions throughout the building process of this station

Some have asked about donations. Obviously you needn't feel obliged, but anything is greatly appreciated and you have my thanks!

Hope this thing has good security in case two ambassadors from opposing countries/planets get into a violent argument with each other which turns into a brutal, frenzied fistfight on the floor.

Working on bringing the Embassy up to date now, have the O2 done and working on navigational signage before moving on to the various vessels included in the world file. all of the included mods will be brought up to the DX11 versions where possible. The tree sadly does not have a viable alternative, I used the area instead for a central air vent for the atrium.

Overall the station will remain unchanged, while I found a place to put a medical bay I was unable to pipe to it so it will be more or less a spawn access point. Once the world is brought up to date I will post it with full credit to Lord Commissar

I have been away from SE for well over a year and this is still my faverote station on the workshop. Could stand an O2 update however...

if you want to go ahead.

in all honesty this file works fine for me, save that the asteroids don't spawn anymore but that's not a big deal, so i'm not sure what the problem is for others. all i know to say is to make sure you delete your file, unsub, resub, and try again. but i'd be surprised if you hadn't done that already...

I lost the original file when my comp crashed, so there's no way i can update this particular part of the workshop. if you want to put up a DX9 version go ahead. i started editing it to fit in DX11 with newer mods, lighting, and oxygen systems, but it's going to take a while as i have other projects taking priority, and the many windows on this thing make pressurization a nightmare, not to mention the recent oxygen issues where it takes several minutes for pressurized rooms to register and receive oxygen.
