Guide Version 1.1 - Added map in-depth pictures
v1.0 - first draft

Buildings:
  • Barracks/Hand of Nod
  • Weapons Factory/Airstrip
  • Refinery

Harvester's target Tiberium Field:
Out in the middle of the map, although not shared. Nod's Harvester travels through a large tunnel under their base that emerges at the entrance of the base in general. GDI's Harvester travels over a ramp behind the Barracks.

L: The Nod base has a large tunnel (seen on the right) underneath it.
R: The yellow arrows represent how GDI typically exit the tunnel into the Nod buildings

L: Similarly, the red arrows show how Nod players typically sneak into the GDI base
R: One part of the tunnels lets you view the centre region of the map

L: Entrance to the GDI base, notice the Barracks are protected by a wall
R: Whilst Nod's base features a tunnel, GDI's features a ramp

A better look at the ramp.
City

Buildings:
  • AGT/Obelisk
  • Barracks/Hand of Nod
  • Weapons Factory/Airstrip
  • Refinery
  • Power Plant

Harvester's target Tiberium Field:
Out in the middle of the map, although not shared. Each team's harvester travels past their Power Plant and drives round the perimeter of the road to it's Tiberium field.

City consists of large towering "city blocks" surrounding the bases and lining the skyline of the map. The road forms an 8 formation. All the white arrows in these pictures point out infantry tunnels/sniper points in the city blocks.

L: One side of your base leads out to the centre of the map. The harvester takes this route.
R: The other side of your base leads up a ramp onto a bypass over the centre of the map.

L: The aforementioned bypass.
R: The underside of the bypass.

L: All tanks (except the Mammoth) can fit through this side entrance...
R: ...and make their way into the enemy base as shown
Complex

Buildings:
  • Barracks/Hand of Nod
  • Weapons Factory/Airstrip
  • Refinery

Harvester's target Tiberium Field:
In base. Both teams' Tiberium fields are right behind their respective refineries.

In-depth
(click on the thumbnails to expand)

L: Each team has 3 vehicle routes they can take, as well as a couple of infantry routes.
R: The tunnels under the complex.

L: Most siege action takes place on the sides.
R: For both teams it's possible to hit the enemy base behind relative cover.
Field

Buildings:
  • AGT/Obelisk
  • Barracks/Hand of Nod
  • Weapons Factory/Airstrip
  • Refinery

L: Tunnels in the GDI base.
R: If they're lucky and go unnoticed, Nod could place a beacon close to these buildings (at the star)

The Nod base, from the view of the entrance. A common place for Nod Artilleries to camp is behind the one-way ramp beside the Hand of Nod. If the Obelisk is down, it also becomes possible for GDI to sneak into the Refinery from the tunnel on the right.

L: View from the tunnel at the rear of the Nod base. With enough Gunners/Rocket Officers, you could stage a surprise Tunnel Rush here.
R: The Airstrip is protected by one-way ramps here.

L: The field.
R: There are a few mounds in the field that give your tank cover.
Hourglass

Buildings:
  • AGT/Obelisk
  • Barracks/Hand of Nod
  • Weapons Factory/Airstrip
  • Refinery
  • Power Plant

Harvester's target Tiberium Field:
Out in the middle of the map, although not exactly shared: the Tiberium field in this map is spread over the peak and sides of the giant hill in the middle. Each team's harvester collects from it's side of the hill.

In-depth
(click on the thumbnails to expand)

L: You can't see it on the bird's eye map... but Hourglass is just a giant hill between each base.
R: View from the peak. It's common for vehicles to camp up here and fire at various buildings.

L: On each side of the peak are boulders where snipers can take cover.
R: There's a tunnel going through the steep hill, here's the centre hall at the crossroads.
Islands

Buildings:
  • Barracks/Hand of Nod
  • Weapons Factory/Airstrip
  • Refinery

Harvester's target Tiberium Field:
In base. Both teams' Tiberium fields are right behind their respective refineries.

The islands don't have bridges going between them, but the water is shallow enough to walk/drive in.

L: There are ofcourse tunnels linking the bases and going out onto the middle islands
R: The entrance of the tunnels on each team's island looks like this. There's a structure built on the tunnel entrance that lets you take cover and look across at the other team's tunnel entrance structure.

From the aforementioned structure it is possible to launch rockets at the enemy base, without even leaving your own base. This is known as Base 2 Base but it's often not allowed on many servers, so check the rules before considering this!
Mesa

Buildings:
  • AGT/Obelisk
  • Barracks/Hand of Nod
  • Weapons Factory/Airstrip
  • Refinery
  • Power Plant

Harvester's target Tiberium Field:
Out in the middle of the map, shared. Each teams' harvester heads into the cavern in the centre of the map.

In-depth

At the centre of the map is a cavern, where the harvesters collect the Tiberium. It's also the predominant battlezone for tanks, being the shortest route to the enemy base. The cavern contains ramps to get the high ground and formations that allow for cover. You'll also notice a bridge going through it, which connects the two other routes leaving the bases (see below).

L: The infantry route.
R: The longer vehicle route.
Under

Buildings:
  • AGT/Obelisk
  • Barracks/Hand of Nod
  • Weapons Factory/Airstrip
  • Refinery
  • Power Plant

L: Under presumably gets it's name from the fact that the bases are partially under a huge cavern of sorts.
R: Each teams' tunnels both have one exit into the middle of the map

L: The Nod base from the front entrance
R: Nod's tunnels. A lucky GDI player could potentially destroy or atleast damage the Power Plant if they can detonate a beacon at the star.

The field, which includes a cliff formation in the centre. The arrows represent typical routes for GDI and Nod to take.
Volcano

Buildings:
  • Barracks/Hand of Nod
  • Weapons Factory/Airstrip
  • Refinery
  • Power Plant

Harvester's target Tiberium Field:
Outside the base, shared. Both teams' harvesters head into the volcano cavern.

In-depth
(click on the thumbnails to expand)

L: GDI's base. Nod infantry rush routes shown.
R: Likewise, GDI's typical infantry strategy is to come out the tunnels here. The entrance to the volcano itself is seen behind the Power Plant

L: Inside the volcano is the Tiberium field. The bridge platform connects the tunnels to each base. The centre tunnel goes up to the sniper nests.
R: On the opposite side of the map are the bridges.
Walls

Buildings:
  • Barracks/Hand of Nod
  • Weapons Factory/Airstrip
  • Refinery
  • Power Plant

Harvester's target Tiberium Field:
Outside the base, not shared.

L: Walls might take it's name from the giant walls that protect each base...
R: ...or perhaps the walls of the canyon you're in.

The white arrows in the pictures above show the tunnel that goes under each base entrance. To the left is the entrance in front of the base. Down this tunnel is a T-junction with each exit leading to either side of the base itself, near the front.

L: Shown is the entrance to go through/inside the canyon formation.
R: To get to the top, take either tunnel entrance at the side.

You can hit the enemy base without venturing too close, notice from here GDI could fire MRLS rockets at the Nod Refinery or Hand of Nod.
