Keyboard Controls Reference

Unfortunately, this game does not seems to have any reference screen for the controls, so, if you left it for a while, it can be difficult to remember them. So I decided to write them down while my memory is still fresh.

Menus
  • Enter — select.
  • Esc — return.

I think Arrow Keys should do something, as well — but I didn't noticed any effects.
Moving
  • Left and Right arrow keys — rotate around.

  • Up — move forward.

  • Space — call your guide (usually, your daughter). Message "Straight ahead!" means that you perfectly aligned with the right direction.

  • Left Shift — Move faster.

  • Left Control — Move slower.
Combat
  • Enter — draw your sword. Usually you do it automatically, but there are couple situations where you must do it manually.

  • Arrow keys — hit the opponnent when the moment is right, usually it's right before they hit you.

  • F - Raise you shield. You stay protected from all directions as long as your shield raised (i.e. you hold the button).

  • G - Shield bash (or conterattack). Use it on the right moment (same as with the sword), and opponent will became disoriented for a couple of seconds, so you can strike them with sword a few times.

By the way, pay attention to the moments when opponent breathing loudly or insulting you — these are the moments when you are most vulnerable, if I understood the Cyber-lady correctly.
Special Occasions
Horse
  • Left and Right arrow keys — turn when you daughter told you to do so (press it once, no need to hold it).
  • Up — jump when needed.

Boat
  • Up and Down — use rhythmically (i.e. up-down-up-down etc.) to row.
  • F — use to defend against arrows.

Roofs
  • Up — jump.
  • F — defend against arrows.

Last part I didn't reached myself, I am afraid — so I based my data on that I heard. But it should be correct.
