Baital

One of countless clandestine prototypes mothballed after unsatisfactory performance, the Baital class was built around its silent running system as a means of quick and quiet resource transportation. Though most were scrapped, a few vessels found their way to market, where their stealth capabilities are prized by captains able to look past the rust and dated mechanical components.

When activated, the silent running system throttles the engine to a quarter of its usual power, switches from reactor to battery power input, shuts off exterior lights, and alters the colour of interior lamps. When paired with a decoy depth charge, this can allow the vessel to slip right past some threats.
