Introduction
This guide assumes that you have beat the campaign with 3 stars on every mission. If you haven't yet done that, that's okay the campaign is kinda mid.

Beyond that, this guide also assumes you have some experience with playing the game already and you're looking to enhance your gameplay into the Pro League™
Step 1. Acquiring Loot
The first thing you'll need to get better at Pixel Gun 3D is... money! So naturally the first thing to do is to get more. You can do this buy clicking the '+' icon in the top right corner at the main menu of the game.

When you first do this, it will take you to the Keys section.

Keys are useless because there is no such thing as gambling with responsibility.

Instead, scroll to the right until you reach the Coins and Gems section. From there, you can purchase both currencies for $99.99 each.
After you click the currency you want to purchase, Steam will enter the Shift+Tab menu in order to confirm your purchase. It will try and use funds from your Steam Wallet first. If you don't have any, you can add funds through either a Steam gift card or any valid credit or debit card.

Downloadable Content
Alternatively, you can also spend 100 dollars on the game's DLC if you don't want to spend hours trying to build your own unique loadout and waste gems collecting and upgrading weapons.

Pixel Gun 3D PC DLC

Once you've acquired the bare minimum for playing the game, proceed to step two!
Step 2. Loadout
The second most important thing in the mobile game Pixel Gun 3D is your weapon loadout! It will be what you use to kill enemies and win games. With your newly purchased money you can now buy your way to the top! There are a total of six weapon categories:
  1. Primary
  2. Backup
  3. Melee
  4. Special
  5. Sniper
  6. Heavy

POPUPS
Usually, when there is a weapon popup, you will want to ignore this deal.

This is because popup ads for weapons suck! All guns in the game have an average lifespan of 2-6 months before the developers nerf them into mediocrity or they are replaced with something better.

PRIMARY
The solution? Get a weapon that will never leave you — the true tried and tested Combat Rifle!

This Primary weapon was one of the best weapons in its era of 2013. Over these last 11 years it has never once left my arsenal of reliable weapons. It features a 4x scope for far away enemies and a generous 35 rounds of ammunition. It also sports the default 98 fire rate for automatic weapons. Purchase it and add it to the loadout!

Alternatively, if rifles aren't your cup of tea for primary weapons, you can later invest in a shotgun like the Ultimatum!

BACKUP
A good backup is a difference between life and respawning, so this category in particulary can be entirely up to user preference. There are many backup weapons, some shoot rapid low-damage bullets and others deadly lasers. In addition, some double up as support weapons.

Both the Exterminator and its reskinned brother Thunderer are solid choices for backup weapons, a classic among the triple kitten death barrage community!

The secret between choosing these two is solely the fact that the Thunderer has cool weapon skins, not the fact that the Exterminator does more damage but the Thunderer has larger hit detection.

Personally, I use the Super Pixel Gun, which is a direct upgrade to the starter weapon. It features superb damage and is a modern take (2020) on the classic weapon.

MELEE
In times of old, melee used to be a viable play style. This happened more than once, with the Fire Demon and Ninja Katana to the Storm hammer. Today, melees are nothing more than tools needed to reposition from enemies, or heal yourself.

Unfortunately, many of the good melees are locked behind Trader Vans and Pixel Passes, so if you're looking for a quick way to improve the loadout, look no further than the Dark Force Saber!

It's another classic weapon from 2013, however as with tradition it still kicks! Never mind that fact that I haven't upgraded it — look at its 85 mobility! It's also still legendary. With this weapon you can quickly reposition after killing or missing an enemy.

SPECIAL
This thing has me wishing I'd actually reached for my pistol instead of my taser!
When I was 11 I turned 13, because I don't fw 12

SNIPER
What some hail as the best category, the Sniper may very well be the most important one. This is because most Sniper weapons are horribly unbalanced and often one-shot players in the leg.
If you haven't already, purchase the Magic Bow and add it to your loadout.

What makes this weapon special is the fact that it's a bow! Enemies can't hear or see you shooting them — perfect for a sniper!

If you already had the Magic bow and were looking to spice up the loadout further, unfortunately the main Armory won't do. You'll have to wait for this FÜCKING idiot to have something good in his menu.

Usually they cost 500 Gems, give or take 100. Good thing you bought some earlier.
Keep an eye out for hot baddies like the Mammoth or Demon Catcher, or any rifle that you know has one shot you in the head.

HEAVY
The Heavy category is based entirely on preference. Some of these weapons kill instantly, others do no damage at all! If you like to rocket jump, invest in something with high magazine capacity, like the fan-favorite Anti-gravity Blaster!

If you need something that kills, you're gonna have to look toward Lotteries and Pixel Passes for that.

Personally, I use weapons that have a bit of both. In fact, I liked this one weapon so much that I got two identical copies of it!

Whether you built your own loadout or paid for it, you've now finished step 2! Move on to step 3!
Step 3. Wear
Wear is one of the toughest gear to acquire in the game, so most of it is standardized for players who don't have anything.

ARMOR
Armor is very important! Unfortunately, all easily accessible armor is locked behind clans!

So for this guide, we will use Armor!

HAT
Every king needs his crown

MASK

CAPE
The cape editor/custom cape is easily the best, for multiple reasons.

BOOTS
A man is only as cool as his shoes, and the Ninja Tabi looks cooler than the Berserk Boots.

SKIN
Lastly, I highly recommend that you invest in the Skin Editor! From there, you can make the ultimate camouflage!

The enemy will be sweating bullets when they can't hit what they can't see!
Step 4. Gadgets
There are only two gadgets that matter in Pixel Gun 3D.
The Frag Grenade and Pandora's Box. Equip them now.
Step 5. Modules
Modules are like rock paper scissors! There is Kinetic, Magic, and Energy. Each of them do different things combined and every weapon category has their own modules that enhance weapons like stocks, magazines, grips, etc. None of them actually matter, as when you equip a certain element module the enemy can become resistant to it by wearing that element on their armor! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT EQUIP MODULES
Step 6. Combat
Your final loadout should look something like this:

If it doesn't, go back to the store DLC page and purchase a weapon set here.

Now that you're fully geared up, I can now teach you about how to fight! As this date of April 2, 2024, you cannot rebind keys in Pixel Gun 3D: PC Edition.

Remember to MOVE with W A S D and aim with your MOUSE. When you see someone with a red name above their head point the middle of your screen at them and hold LEFT CLICK. Remember to JUMP with SPACE BAR as well!

Additional training material can be found with this downloadable program on Steam:

Conclusion
If you have followed this guide carefully then you will become the ultimate Pixel Gun 3D: PC Edition player! You will have no trouble demolishing iPad kids and gamers with claw hands! If you still haven't become a pro, I suggest you return to the Pixel Gun 3D: PC Edition DLC Page to purchase yourself a weapon set.

This is the end of the guide, and I hope that you found it very helpful. Be sure to Like, Favorite, Comment, and Share! See you in the field, Pixel Gunners!
