yeah but you used the exact same carpet as he did there, and put the curtains in the same spot he did

Problem with that: In the old base in Voices of the Void, the main room has stuff in just about every corner except for one that is just bare. Literally, if you want a 'cozy corner' then you have no options unlike the new base where there's plenty.

In short, a coincidence.
