Inventory management and infinite storage with TQVault
By 🌸 幻 | Valinypse
As the Titan Quest's wiki states: "TQVault is a Titan Quest game enhancing tool developed by bman654 that allows you to trade Items between your characters or even store them offline in any number of private vaults."

You can use it to re-arrange the inventory, create an unlimited number of offline vaults, move items from one character to another, extract relics from items so you can use them in a different item (or add a different relic to your item), automatically complete partially completed relics and charms, combine and split different kinds of item stacks (potions, relics, charms and scrolls).

It's a very popular tool in the Titan Quest community, and here's how to download and give it a good use.

Download anything at your own risk.

#1 - Download TQVault
TQVault was originally developed by bman654 and most recently maintained by EJFudd (AKA VillageIdiot). You can find it in EtienneLamoureux's github page.

As it states: "TQVaultAE is an external tool for Titan Quest Anniversary Edition that allows you to store and search your items outside the game. Works with all expansions!"

To proceed, download "TQVaultAE_4.4.0.zip".
#2 - Setup
TQVault can auto-locate the game files, so you may not need to do this. In case it didn't do it automatically for you, here's what the official TQVault Github page states about installation:

  • Navigate the the installation folder of TQVaultAE.

  • Open UserConfig.xml in a text editor (i.e. notepad, not Microsoft Word).

  • Replace the following sections:

    <AutoDetectGamePath>1</AutoDetectGamePath> ... <TQITPath></TQITPath> <TQPath></TQPath>

by (replace the path to the correct one for your computer)

    <AutoDetectGamePath>0</AutoDetectGamePath> ... <TQITPath>C:\examplePath\Titan Quest Anniversary Edition</TQITPath> <TQPath>C:\examplePath\Titan Quest Anniversary Edition</TQPath>

  • Open TQVaultAE.

You might be greeted with a warning dialog about the vault path not being set. Click OK.

  • Open the configuration menu by clicking the top-left button.

  • Validate the vault path and the game paths shown.

  • Click OK to close the configuration menu.
#3 - Using TQVault
Start TQVault, select your character in the pop-up list and now you can drag and drop items from one stash to the other.

You can not access the Main Vault stash while ingame, you have to drag and drop it back into you inventory before.

  • Create specific vaults for each kind of item you want to store.

  • Allow cheats.

In the "Configure" tab you can enable cheats.

Then you'll see the "Edit" option above your character stats, the option to duplicate items and the "Forge" tab.

  • You can transfer items from different in-game inventories

#4 - Now enjoy!
It's important to note that TQVault is extremely buggy, There's a lot of stuff being constantly discussed about this tool, so if you want to know or ask something, the Titan Quest forums may help you, as the TQVault is a popular tool.

I hope this worked for you, and have a nice day!
