Whack Industries Project H hydrogen production plant

Description
PROJECT H NUCLEAR POWER PLANT
Overview
This project seeks to bring green energy with clean fuel sources. Powered by a nuclear reactor Project H can create a near infinite amount of Hydrogen and Oxygen in a green way. This ship is designed to be a mobile production platform, with a top speed of 25 Knots. The ship is designed in a way where it can be turned on to create a nearly unlimited amount of Hydrogen, Oxygen, Fresh Water, and Electricity. The ship can support a crew of 6 or be left to run on its own.
**There is no keep active block, add one if you want the ship to produce while out of distance.

The Design
The Design is focused on production, because of this the ship is mostly dedicated to production functions. There is limited crew space, but beds for six. The ship features many tanks and systems in order to produce as much water as possible. There are two surge tanks, one forward tank (where the hydrolizers are located), and fuel tanks for jet and diesel located under the heli pad. The surge tanks are where the fresh water is made. The hydrogen and oxygen tanks have coolers that can achieve lower pressures and more efficiency. The entire ship has central air conditioning and heat. Hydrogen and Oxygen production can be controlled on the bridge and pumped out of the ship from multiple points.

Operation
The ship is powered by a nuclear reactor, that powers electric motors. The ship is simple to operate because of this. Production of fresh water and hydrogen/oxygen can be controlled with 5 switches on the bridge. The first step in this process is pumping fresh water into the system. Surge tank 1 and Surge tank 2 are held at lower than atmospheric pressure. This causes a pressure gradient sucking water up through the desalinators. This in conjunction with pumps can create fresh water on a very large scale. The water from the surge tanks is then pumped forward to the bow where there is a large fresh water holding tank. The hydrolizers are located in this tank. There are two that can run full time around the clock. The gases are then pumped into 3 tanks located in the midship. There are two tanks for labeled Hydrogen and 1 tank for Oxygen that are all of equal volume. These tanks can cool the gases down to lower the overall vessel pressure. Lowering the pressure makes pumping the gas in easier, and thus more efficient. The gases can be off loaded via multiple points on the ship.

Startup
  1. Check Breaker (spawns on)
  2. Turn off infinite electricity.
  3. Press unlock system button
  4. Press system on button
  5. Press reactor on button

Pumping and Storgae
  • Diesel
  • Jet Fuel
  • Fresh Water
  • Hydrogen
  • Oxygen
  • Power

    Production Operations
    1. Tanks spawn with air, and need to be emptied.
    2. The vacate tank pumps spawn on, turn them off with key labled Empty tanks
    3. Turn Desalinator on
    4. Fill Forward Water Tank
    5. Turn on Hydrolizer

    Production Stats
    43,000L of Oxygen every hour
    86,000L of Hydrogen every hour

1,032,000L of Oxygen every 24 hour
2,065,000L of Hydrogen every 24 hours

(980,000L of hydrogen to fill the Saturn V)

Ship is too survivable, I fired 10 missiles at it and it only took 1 repair torch to stop it from sinking. Along with that it cannot have a nuclear meltdown, the highest radiation I have ever gotten from it was when I covered the entire ship in C4 and even then I only got to orange.

hypothetically, how would one incite a reactor meltdown?
hypothetically.

are the screens at the reactor buttons supposed to show anything?

Are there any vehicles compatible with the port side gantry?

@Whack_AL Thank you for the update, the ship no longer is tilting!

Well when I built the ship spawning hydrogen and oxygen wasn’t really in the game, from my testing the oxygen can be used to run engines but I have no idea what to use the hydrogen for. Also I did some work to help the tilting hopefully it is better now! It should also level out when you let the tanks fill a bit more!

I love this thing but I have no clue what the hell I'm gonna use this hydrogen and oxygen for. Like, there's not any infrastructure for it built yet. You can't run engines off it, I don't think anyways.

To anyone who is having issues with the ship rotating/moving in strange ways, I don't know if it is the cause, but delete the lifeboat and its support structure. That helped some of the problems for me.
