The UAZ-469 is an off-road military light utility vehicle produced by the UAZ company. It was used by the armed forces of the Soviet Union and other Warsaw Pact forces, as well as paramilitary units in Eastern Bloc countries. In the Soviet Union, it was also widely used in state organizations that needed a solid and durable off-road vehicle. Standard military versions included seating for seven. In the Polish People's Republic it served as a vehicle of the Citizens' Militia.
