After putting on your gas mask and crouching beneath some rubble, this can be found on the corpse in the crawlspace. If you shuffle past a filing cabinet, then you have gone too far.
Artifact 3/97 - Note to Brother
Once you reach the first group of enemies, this can be found upstairs in the back room on the table.
Firefly Pendant 2/30 - Ben Glueck 000106
After passing the plank up to Tess in the old warehouse, you will use it to exit the building and drop from a catwalk back to the ground. Shortly after, you will jump over a concrete barricade and then crouch beneath a fallen catwalk. This pendant can be found hanging from the tree on the left just after passing below the catwalk, you will need to shoot it down. If you enter the WPL store, then you have gone too far.

The Slums

Artifact 4/97 - Drafting Notice
After walking through the bus near the start, keep to the left side of the street. This will be on the ground near the broken dishwasher.
Artifact 5/97 - Wanted Poster
This is on the notice board in front of the artifact above.
Artifact 6/97 - Shipping Manifest
This is to the right near where you gained control to begin with on the 4th encounter. Follow the dock edge near the railing and you will find this on the floor near some netting, blue bins and some buckets.
Artifact 7/97 - Docks Note
Behind the forklift inside is a large boat, this is on the floor beside the railing running alongside the docked boat.

The Cargo

These are on the corner of some covered tables at the start, there are 2 portable toilets nearby and a blocked staircase.

Optional Conversation 4/54
Kill the enemies in the 1st enemy encounter but don’t go past the bridge. Then go to the bodies on the bridge and you can trigger this with Marlene. If Marlene runs to the exit instead, load a recent autosave to trigger the conversation again.

When you gain control back with Ellie, this can be found beside a corpse sat against a newspaper stand straight ahead.

Once on the road, this is beside the traffic lights post on the right corner.

Shortly after the truck, you will reach the Goldstone Building. This is hanging on a branch of the closest of the 2 large trees outside. Shoot it down with your pistol, there is a Brick beside the furthest tree if you have run out of ammo.

In the same spot as the joke above beside the elevators, turn right and shimmy across the broken floor and you will find this in a suitcase.

Once you've successfully killed everyone on the hotel's second floor, head inside Room 304, which is on the opposite side of the hotel to the staircase. There are two dead bodies in a bathtub. Wait for Ellie to come in, and it'll trigger an Optional Conversation.

This is on a table just before the table you must jump over to progress.

Once you enter the theater area, Ellie will have the prompt for this beside the paradise stand in the corner. You will need to interact with her 3 times to register this.

Financial District

Optional Conversation 21/54
Once you have defeated the enemies at the start, go to the corpse hanging from the tree near where you first gained control, and examine it with the prompt that appears near its feet. If the prompt doesn't appear, you will need to close the game and then load it back up for the prompt to appear.

Artifact 41/97 - Final Attack Note
After the cutscene with the hunters in the military vehicle, you will shortly go upstairs into a bank. This can be found in the large office room with the exterior windows, the Artifact will be on the floor in the corner.
Artifact 42/97 - Mob Attack Note
Once back outside in the street, carry on to reach a building in the corner on the bend with a Liberty Military Surplus sign. Head inside this building, upstairs in a small room near the furthest stairwell, on the floor behind the counter.
Optional Conversation
At the end of the street near 2 tanks is a wall with “Death For Freedom” graffiti on it, once all the enemies are dead, Ellie will have the trigger for this when looking at the wall.
Artifact 43/97 - Truck Note
This is inside the Rations Depot near the 2 tanks, this can be found on a desk.

After passing through the door that Henry holds open for you, this can be found on the floor in the meeting room in the corner.

After passing into another office and encountering a cutscene, you will shortly enter a room with a large model of a bridge in the middle.These can be found inside a small storeroom on the left beside the model, inside a locker.
Achievement - Lights Out
While in stealth, turn off the spotlight generator in Pittsburgh - After going downstairs and reaching the 3rd encounter, you must reach the generator and turn it off while in stealth. You can still kill enemies and trigger this, but it must be in stealth.

Head to the large washed up boat in the distance, and you can find this in the cabin.

Inside the hull of the same boat above, there is a large hole on the deck you can drop into.

Once in the sewer, climb into the first drain on the right to reach a small room. A corpse will be holding onto this stuck in a drain on the wall.

When the path forks, go right to find a caged area. Interact with the nearby crawlspace to send Ellie through and she will unlock the gate. This can be found inside the caged area on a table.

First of all, I wanted to thank you so much because I'm following your guide step by step, and to say it's helpful is to understate it. I just wanted to add a piece of information, which might be useful to someone and isn't present in your guide: in Chapter 8 (The University), there's also a new weapon, the flamethrower, which is located right next to the Wall Panel Note (it's leaning against an armchair).

Weird theory, i have read a lot of sources on how to activate the 5 joke in the suburbs, my theory is that the game has a counter that needs 5 "optional dialogues" to trigger the jokes, this is bc the only way i've seen to make ellie want to open his goddamn book is by going back to the BBQ history and re hearing it, after all the other ones listed on this guide making it 5, following the guide i think you activate other optional dialogues
So far i know there's the; someone hungry, ellie telling sam how she meet joel, barbecue, dogs, ice cream truck, start of the infection, and the fireflies-
i think there's 5 needed dialogues bc rehearing the bbq dialogue would make my counter 5, and one post in reddit says that the hint book in ps5 listed the darts like one needed but i know that's not true, if this is the case maybe you can make Henry said his dialogue 5 times and it will work, but i'm too frustrated to put this to test

Found another 10 parts in suburbs after the 5x parts in the crawl space. When you exit the crawl space there's another building you can enter the back of immediately where 10 parts are in the kitchen.

If I counted correctly, there are 1591 parts in your guide up until now.
I found 3 more parts in Pittsburgh - Alone and Forsaken between
"Parts x 7
After dropping down onto the road, these can be found just on the left."
and
"Supplements x 5
Opposite the parts above."
There is a tree to left of the 5 supplements where you find those 3 parts!
I am going to keep looking for more. Thanks for the guide!
