Description
This simple mod moves Epidemius to the Spine of Sotek in Lustria, where he seeks to resolve the unreparated theft of a Pox Cauldron from Nurgle's garden by the hated Skaven millenia ago. It is a challenging campaign, but provides a very different experience from his vanilla location, as well as new suitable victory conditions.



Changes:
  • Epidemeus and his faction now start in the Mine of the Bearded Skulls in the Spine of Sotek. The old minor nurgle faction has been restored to the Forest of Decay.
  • Epidemeus now has Short Victory Conditions to Destroy Pestilens, Itza, and The Awakened
  • Epidemeus now has Long Victory Conditions to Destroy Malekith and Kairos, and capture Naggarond
  • Epidemeus starts at war with the Spine of Sotek dwarfs and Clan Pestilens.
  • Skrolk and Epidemeus begin with a quest to destroy one another, with a unique Cauldron of a Thousand Poxes ancillary as a reward.
  • Nurgle factions can now inhabit mountain regions comfortably.

Compatibility:
This mod should be compatible with any other mod that doesn't mess with the starting location of Epidemius, as it is almost entirely script-based. It is compatible with both Mixu's unlocker and Immortal Empires Expanded.

I feel like the diplomacy between Epidemius and Skrolk needs a tweak, because yeah Lustria needs the baddies to infight more to give order AI a chance. In my experience the two always end up allies by turn 10 or so, before they even actually engage each other

Whadya think about adding a "-100 aversion" diplomacy malus between them, like Toddy and Khazrak have? I feel like that all but guarantees they have the loreful head to head this mod is aiming for, and lessens the pressure on Gor-Rok and Tehenhauin massively

@Shingsora, yes, it will work through updates since it's just scripts that move armies and settlements around for the most part.

I love this mod but I think it might need to be reconsidered with Skulltaker being added to Lustria. In my experience Lustria just becomes a massive Chaosbowl and Gor-Rok seems to get exterminated in almost every game. Skrolk and Epi do often war against each other but neither seems to make much progress, plus having more Chaos LL than Lizard LL in Lustria just feels thematically wrong

@Kalessin, yeah VCO is always going to overwrite it (as it should) and there's nothing I can do about that.

Is there an incompatibility with this mod & Victory Conditions Overhaul perhaps? When i install this mod, the victory conditions dont change for Epidimus :( Is there perhaps a load order too?

He does end up in Lustria though, so that part works well!

The relocated Epidemeus and All-Seeing Eye are still at war
The old minor nurgle faction should take the place of Epidemeus and wage war against the All-Seeing Eye.

@撿骨頭, what do you mean, exactly? Is it a problem with Epidemeus's, or is it if you're playing a mod with those minor factions?
