Hmmm, I am running Norton 360 or is it now Norton MultiDevice? The change names yearly, so I don't really follow that, but it has never caused any issues with TS. Anyway, the fact that DTG can't even produce a working patch is kinda amusing.

I couldn't detect any problems yesterday, although it didn't fixed any of the problems I have, except a cosmetic bug I reported 10 months ago. In this case you can't really blame QA. With so many different computer configurations and anti-virus programs it's impossible to make it work for everyone.
BTW: It did improve the framerate on Munich-Partenkirchen with 3D clouds enabled, before it was pulled.

Yep the anti virus was the problem. But even if it hadn't quarantined that file the game would have been as much use as a chocolate teapot, as it would have made a dump file. QA anyone?

BTW, could it be that you have Norton running? Norton seems to give false positives and I saw in a thread that these DLLs were marked as a virus.

I didn't had any problems, but the good news for you is that DTG has withdrawn the patch and reverted back to the previous version. I expect that they will now never fix anything again.

I really think that sometimes it's good that it won't start. I feel so sleepy driving a train on WHL that I really regret buying it. 2 hours without a single event and no traffic....
