AKA HOW TO CHANGE THE MOUSE POLLING RATE

If your here you've probably booted up the game 'Disney's Treasure Planet: Battle of Procyon' and noticed your mouse pointer is sticky, stuttering and generally a hassle to play with. Some users have purported to fix this issue by simply changing the resolution in the display options menu however that did not work for me. Let me show you what did.

This seems to be an issue with GAMING computer mice, Razer, Corsair, Logitech etc. I'm using a generic brand (UtechSmart) but all of these mice seem to use their own similar proprietary software which enables detailed mouse controls.

First we need to find and open the driver software. Usually mine remains open permanently and is available on the system tray. Just push the little arrow and see if the icon is there. If it is not try using the search bar to find what your software is called. If you are unsure what the software is named try searching the brand name however I believe, perhaps wrongfully, Logitech uses 'G HUB,' Corsair uses 'iCUE,' and Razer uses 'Synapse.' When you plug in one of these gamer mice it should automatically install this sort of software however if you can not find it you will need to navigate to the manufacturers website and manually install it.

Once you've brought up the gamer computer mouse driver software you will need to find the setting that manages POLLING RATE. Mine is just under the general settings tab. Once you've found POLLING RATE drop it down to 125hz. After applying this setting go ahead and boot your DISNEY TREASURE PLANET videogame and make sure the sticky mouse is fixed.

Thanks for watching the video. I'm Scurvy Banana and I made this youtube channel for PIRATE GAMES. I try to post once weekly, sometimes technical guides like this, other times reviews or gameplay walkthroughs. If you'd like to check out more pirate videogame media you ahead and do the whole likecommentsubscribething. Thanks.
