The Cycle of Heavenly Reincarnation Compendium: Chapter 1
By kurankeita
You don't remember where you are from, who you are, or what you are. Only, that your form...many times before...feels vaguely familiar.
Within your 'hands' is a strange old-looking book, that feels like you've 'seen'...many times before....
Using your left hand, with the feeling of...many times before...you slowly open this book.
And as with...many times before...you stare at the circles within.
...Many times before...

Chapter 1: The ∞ Cycle ∞ (Re)Begins [轮回]
The ∞ Cycle
"Welcome...old soul? Or is it new soul? Maybe, just 'soul' will do."
"As with...many times before...it begins anew, does it not?"
"A new vessel...indeed...is needed...for the deed."
"Many times before...created...destroyed..."
"Many times afore..."

Compendium Begins
"Well, I believe that's enough sounding pretentious. Don't you think?"

"And if you didn't know, 'afore' is just an archaic word for 'before.' Learn something?"

"Good, moving on."

"As the title of this...book, or guide you can say...states, it is a COMPENDIUM of the CYCLE of HEAVENLY REINCARNATION...blah, di, blah, di, blah."

"It is quite wordy, and contains quite a bit of detailed information which your eyes might...glaze over while reading."

"The...entity...that wrote this is a bit of a...stickler. At least there are pictures to go along to break the monotony of words. The walls of words that you will read, will be reading, have been reading, will have read, will have been reading."

"You get the picture...sorry...actually you don't. Not in this section."

Compendium (Re)Begins
"But, I digress."

"As a seasoned veteran yourself...I imagine...jumping from different universes, dimensions, stories, and cycles...some of the knowledge in the compendium might seem quite...basic."

"As if it's something most people who have experience in these things are able to quickly gleam, and read, and understand, and connect the dots as to why things are happening, or not."

"Unless...well...you're some type of youtube gamer, who needs to keep things interesting and miss even the most basic of information...because you didn't read the tooltips. Leaving your audience to have a spasm as to why something isn't working. Sending them to the comment section leaving passive-aggresive comments, as to how easily you could have fixed that particular problem...s. They do good work nonetheless."

Compendium (Re)(Re)Begins
"But, I digress, a second time."

"Ah, but please, do note that the experiences that you see and understand in this...compendium... is not your own, might not be your own, and will not be your own. The Great Heavenly Dao is unpredictable, yet sometimes almost always predictable. Interesting."

"The one you see in the compendium, is but one of many of many of...existences...that had/has/have/will have, existed in this world and many others similar like it. Their adventure might still be ongoing and we can gleam into their experiences later on."

"Everything is connected."

"Like a string...theory. But...that's just a theory...a...&@#%...theory."

Compendium (Re)(Re)(Re)Begins
"But, I digress, a third time."

"Please, move on to the next section."

(1) Vessel Creation - Reincarnation, Name, and Form
Reincarnation
"Having entered the cycle of reincarnation, in order to exist in this dimension, a vessel must be created to hold your soul."

"With the karma you've acquired throughout your...lives...and consequent lives...you can shape this vessel how you see fit to be born in this 'world.' "

"...I do hope wherever Toriyama-sensei is, he is content...we can only hope that he has also entered the cycle of reincarnation and we will have another person like him...One who has made profound changes to the world..."

"Well, it seems to be raining somewhere on this book. Even though I'm just a wisp of consciousness, I can feel the rain."

"Don't you feel the rain?"

"Just because we're in an empty white space doesn't mean there isn't any rain...at least not physically."

Name
"Well, enough about me, what about you?"

"What should your new vessel be called, and, well, you be called?"

"As you think of a name for yourself, take the time to (re)read a small summary about this world and your awakening."

"Do understand that because of the different...dimensions...the number of characters for your name is limited."

"Hmm...Our friends name is GuYue Haoyu. Haoyu means 'vast universe.' GuYue means 'ancient moon.' "

"Gu Yue, Ancient Moon, I wonder if there is some relation to...that clan...or that venerable. I doubt it though, probably a coincidence or an obsession held by the soul. Maybe a fan?"

"Whatever the reason, it's a normal name by all accounts."

Form
"After you've written in the stars your name-to-be. It's time to give physical form to your vessel."

"Choose your...dare I say it...gender, and the physical characteristics you would like to have for the people of this world to lay eyes on."

"If you happen to want to change some things later on, there are a couple of ways to go about it. Though you'll have to look for them yourself."

"It won't be too hard, it would be like looking for a clinic somewhere in the country where they do plastic surgery well." (Cough) (Cough)

"Our young friend, Haoyu, looks, or will look, quite dignified in his young adulthood. Though I would prefer if he held a sword in his hand instead, instead of that...whatever that is."

"Isn't that right? A cultivator must look dignified, composed, imposing, and threatening, all at the same time. And, above all else, needs to look cool!"

*Sigh*

"If you've finished, then we can continue."
(2) Vessel Creation - Difficulty, Destiny, and Character
Difficulty
"The next aspect of vessel creation is the difficulty, huh...That's a bit hard to understand, maybe just lost in translation, haha."

"Well, as far as I remember, new souls in this...dimension...only have three options available to them. The higher, 'difficulty' are not available and one has to unlock them by fulfilling the requirements."

"Hmm...Let's see here."

"Very Difficult: All damage to you is increased by 50% and damage to opponents reduced by 50%."
"Difficult: All damage to you is increased by 20% and damage to opponents reduced by 20%."
"Normal: All levels remain...normal."
"Easy: Absorb 2 extra Qi per round, and reduces all damage by 20%."
"Very Easy: Absorb 5 extra Qi per round, and reduces all damage by 50%."

"As the first two difficulties are unavailable usually, until unlocked, Normal would be the only choice."

"There are the last two difficulties available...however...the Heavenly Dao and the Principles of the world, would find it hard to grant Achievements to those who chose to have an easy or very easy life."

"But as such, for you to receive 50% more damage and your opponents receive 50% less damage...is quite...well...M. There are people who want to the see the world burn, but there are also people who want to be burned and derive some sort of pleasure from it. Those are very peculiar...souls...some might say...Dark Souls."

"It seems this one chose Normal difficulty, not a difficult life, nor an easy life, but a normal life."

"In the world of cultivation, normal is quite different from normal normal."

Destiny
"From here on however, it is not my place to tell you what to choose regarding your...destiny..."

"You must look, read, understand and choose the ones that tickle your fancy."

"And, frankly, it's getting quite tiring remarking about every little thing when you yourself have eyes to look."

"Unless, don't tell me. You have eyes but cannot see Mount Tai?!"

"Hahaha, just kidding. It's a joke in the cultivation world, if you know, then you know."

"Or is it, I have eyes but cannot my disciple Taishan?!"

"Sometimes, these phrases get lost and mistranslated somewhere along the line."

"Moving on..."

Character
"Well, next is...Character."

"The Great Dao, or Heavenly Dao as some would say, grants all living beings in existence their own destiny, and with it their own talents and opportunities."

"Some, fight this destiny through cultivation, to try and find the Heavenly Dao itself. To become the giver of destinies, not the receiver."

"Some, realize their destiny and follow it obediently, paying respect to the Heavenly Dao."

"Some, don't know of their destiny and live their life quietly following it, while never realizing."

"It seems you are able to choose your own destiny, and with it, of course, the talents, blessings, curses, and opportunities, positive and negative, that will affect you as a being."

"It also seems, that Opposing Heaven, is not a destiny you can choose. At least, not yet..."

"What has our friend chosen?"

"Otherworldly Destiny...interesting. Our friend, in this instance, was originally the legendary, Dragon Aotian. How cool."

"As such, he received 40 Talent points to use to shape their destiny how they want."

"I wonder if these 'Talent points,' correspond with how much 'Karma' you've acquired throughout your...lives and reincarnations?"

"Quite the...quandary. I say that, then truly, what kind of Compendium is this?"

"Maybe...incomplete...not having...all the answers. Maybe...the knowledge in this Compendium only encompasses a small part of the Heavenly Dao?"

"A cycle of reincarnation, within a cycle of reincarnation, within a cycle of reincarnation. A heavenly dao, created by a higher heavenly dao, created by a higher heavenly dao."

"A universe, within a universe, within a universe. Or, maybe more precisely, a Teenyverse, within a Miniverse, within a Microverse, within a Universe."

"Oh my, non-physical existing, head hurts. Let's move on...we don't know how long we'll be in this space. Maybe our lifespan as existences will end."
(2.1) Vessel Creation - Details
Details
"With that segue, we can see that our friend's 'Lifespan' is 100 years, under the 'Details' within his Character page. That seems to be a regular Mortal's lifespan."

"Take a look at the descriptions of the other statistics, maybe you can gleam some information into what kind of cultivator you would like to be or what you might deem more important."

"I'll also let you know some knowledge I've acquired from this Compendium...after some searching."

"Aptitude: Affects speed of cultivation and the purity of one's spiritual roots. Seems quite important, the faster one's cultivation is, the faster one can move through the realms. I also imagine that the purity of one's spiritual roots can allow them to be part of a sect's Outer Court, or with high enough aptitude, straight to the Inner Court. Though how high the aptitude needs to be, as well as a powerful soul, is the question. These can be achieved by creating elixirs, and learning soul techniques from other cultivators to strengthen soul power."

"It has happened before, it's not impossible. Where one's aptitude and soul sense was high, using the easier to craft tiers of elixirs, before participating in a sect's disciple recruitment. They passed the test, needless to say, and went straight to becoming an Inner Disciple and choosing a Master. But to get such stats so high from birth, one would need a destiny that...opposed the heavens. Not only that, they would have needed to choose the best...talents, blessings, and opportunities available."

"If not from birth, but through hard work, then that would require decades of time, eating through at one's lifespan. If one's lifespan is reached, well, the only thing left is death...and the cycle begins anew. Unless, they were able to reach the next realm and extend their lifespan, then the hard work would have paid off quite well. But, they would have needed to minimized actions that weren't important and maximized the actions that were important, at least for the actions needed at the time. A min-max strategy, I call it, hahahahaha. Isn't that a good sounding name for a strategy? Though, I quite feel that I have already heard about this strategy and maybe that's why I'm saying it. Whatever! At least it doesn't exist in this world...Min-maxing! You should use it when you get to the cultivation world, and spread the name to all the mortals and cultivators you see! This I allow you. HAHAHAHAHAHA."

"Hmm...there...also seems to be a knowledge in the Compendium about cheese. Not the food mind you, but a cheesy...'exploit'...one could use to swindle other cultivators out of their money, using one's Soul Sense in this world, or Soul Power, or Soul Strength as some other...worlds...would call it. However, there are consequences in doing so, lowering one's fame and relationship, which we'll explore further later on, and you can only use this cheesy 'exploit' with cultivators whose Soul Sense is lower than yours. Exploits...making use of the world's rules, principles, and mechanics...it's not like we're some splendid, or spiffing, Brit-ish being."

"If you're interested in such knowledge, there are other Compendiums and materials in this seemingly white-space like area that are sometimes filled with 0s and 1s, that you can peruse like a library. Dare I say...a Library of Heaven's Path? All manners of knowledge exist, you just happen to have chosen this one at this time...not only knowledge exist...but powers that could modify this entire universe...or systems that could change reality as you see it, making one gain immense power beyond belief, with just the press of button...But if that's possible, as this Compendium alludes to, then that must mean that this universe is but a..."

"Ugh, let's not dwell on this too long. We've only talked about one statistic, and we've already reached the point of questioning our whole existence, not as a cycle, but of cycles within cycles, universes within universes. I shudder to think about this too long. If you're interested in exploring such different knowledge, look to the ends of this chapter. These...links...will take you where you want to be, to know what you want to know. And, probably, as less wordy and 'talkative' as I and this Compendium have been so far."

"Let's move on to the next statistic then. I'll try not to stray too far off from the topics now. It's just that knowledge floods my consciousness and it's hard not to think about them...Ugh."

"Comprehension: How well you're able to understand insights you've gained, techniques for your cultivation, and skills to use in and out of combat. The higher your comprehension, the faster you're able to learn these things. This might be one of the most important stats to have in this world. Who wouldn't want to be a genius young master?"

"You wouldn't want to spend decades, or even hundreds, of your lifespan just trying to learn some meager insight would you?"

"Soul Sense: As I've said previously, it's a stat that shows how powerful a cultivator's soul is. You are able to use your soul to threaten others if your soul is stronger than theirs, even if you have slightly lower cultivation. Do note that the higher your cultivation, the more powerful one's soul becomes. I don't recommend trying to threaten cultivators who are of a major realm than yours. You won't be able to easily see other cultivators' stats, and probing them with your soul sense will leave a bad taste in their mouth, unless, well, you're both already ready to kill each other."

"Other than threatening, a stronger soul sense will allow you to be more hidden from other existences in the world. If you plan on sneaking around, you better hope your soul sense is higher than the cultivators around you. There is also a technique that helps hides one's breath, making it less likely for you to be found. You'll have to find that technique first. Otherwise, with the cultivator's very particular set of skills. They will look for you, they will find you, and they will kill you."

"Speed: Affects a cultivators movement speed from place to place in the world, who is able to act first in battle, and if a cultivator is able to outrun and flee from their opponent during battle. Some would say that this is also a good stat to have. Moving from place to place in the world takes time, and time is lifespan. It would be good to not spend your lifespan moving from place to place for sometimes mundane reasons. However, exploring the world might bring great rewards, and being able to travel quickly will be of a benefit. You won't be able to become like a red streak, or a blue rolling ball, but at least you won't be too concerned with your lifespan while travelling with great speed."
(2.2) Vessel Creation - Details 2

"Spirit Stones: As with most cultivation...worlds...spirit stones are the main currency for trading, powering formations, and used in growing useful herbs in a private garden. Some cultivators would say that spirit stones are just things outside the body, a mundane concept and not much use in cultivation. These cultivators have just not had any wants since their birth, they've been fed with a golden, some with diamond, spoons their whole life. What do they know about the struggles of poor mortals and cultivators. Hear me now, my friend, spirit stones are one of the lifebloods of a cultivator. If you have enough spirit stones, you will be able to buy many of the things you will need for your cultivation. Herbs, materials, cultivation techniques, skills, artifacts, insight books, pill recipes, elixirs, weapons, armors, accessories, information, entering competitions, and even accessing higher tier items will need you to show you have enough spirit stones."

"Spirit stones are important! With the elixirs you buy, you can increase your stats. With the equipment you buy, you'll be able to use your skills more effectively or damage your opponents, and be able to defend well against them. Buying information allows you to find things you'll need for your cultivation, like legendary herbs and materials. Don't belittle spirit stones, or the cultivators who seek them, there are even cultivators out there who are willing to forsake their relationship and fame across the world, just to earn a little more spirit stones. Spirit stones won't buy you happiness, as that is an abstract idea, however, having enough spirit stones, will give you comfort and allow your pursuit of happiness to be just that much easier, whatever that may be."

"Health: It is the maximum amount of damage you can receive, usually in non-competitive battles, before you are sent back to the cycle of reincarnation. Unless, well, your soul itself is destroyed, then there is no hope for you."

"Of course, without question, this is an important stat to have...especially if one is just starting on the cultivation path. With each minor and major breakthrough, your health will increase, just as with other stats, and the higher the base, the more you will receive."

"Staying alive, ah, ha, ha, ha, staying alive, is very important if you want to continue cultivating and reach the Great Dao. Be careful of the cultivators and beasts you encounter in the world, they can, and will, whittle your health. I hope you'll have enough speed to flee from any danger."

"Lifespan: As we've spoken of before, lifespan is how long you'll be able to live, in this world. Many actions you take, and do, in the world will take time. Though you shouldn't be too concerned, as breaking through the major realms will increase your lifespan, and there are elixirs in the world to increase your lifespan, you must not be too lackadaisical about it either. If you aren't careful, you'll be a bedridden-old-bodied soul, reminiscing about your life and wondering where all your time was spent, and if you min-maxed carefully. If you're lucky, you might still have your partner beside you if they're a powerful cultivator. Whether husband or wife, one or many, it's up to you to decide."

"Well, up to you to decide, but also up to the other person if they're willing to receive your advances. If your relationship with them is intimate enough, and if you're charming enough for them to think about you seriously. And, if they accept your confession of love and betrothal. Honestly, courting one individual is hard enough already, who would dare try to think and court 51 individuals?! Hmm...there is one, in the Compendium, there is knowledge of one such person who tried to do so, and get this...they even wrote a guide for it. It's somewhere in this white-space like library, sometimes filled with 0s and 1s. If you're interested search for it in the links provided at the end of this chapter. May your Dao of Courtship bear fruit, or fruits, in many different ways. Or would it be peaches and nuts instead of just fruits?"

"Spiritual Roots: Is your connection with the five main elements in the world, Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth. There is a synergy between all the five elements, but there is also friction between them. More importantly, your spiritual roots dictate the specific elemental Qi you absorb during battle. Depending on your skills, you may want to draw a specific element in order to use them, as such you should focus on increasing your spiritual roots for that specific element. There are elixirs that will help you with that process, and of course, you can choose the purity of your spiritual roots while creating your vessel."

"Finally, we're getting to the end of the statistics. Let's see here..."

"Mind: The state of one's inner peace, and one's ability to remain calm in all manners of situation. As you can see, this stat affects the speed of cultivation. If you have found peace that exceeds your cultivation realm, then there is a bonus to your cultivation speed. Conversely, if you have inner demons and can't calm your mind, allowing it to go below what your cultivation realm should have, then there will be a penalty to the speed of your cultivation."

"Take care to have inner peace during your path of cultivation. As with most stats, there are elixirs that can increase your mind's calmness. There are also certain, negative and positive, opportunities in the world that can affect your mind. Maybe visiting a small village near the start of your cultivation journey can allow you to reflect on your mortal self, and other mortals who are just living their life not in pursuit of cultivation."
(3) Vessel Creation - Birth and Aptitude
Birth

"Ah, your birth. On this page, you will be able to choose where, how, and which family your birth took place for your vessel. I say, where and how, but those are just implied since we all have a rough idea of where and how, depending on the family you choose. As I've said, it's up to you to look through the choices that the Heavenly Dao have given you and choose the most appropriate for your task, or tasks, you want accomplished."

"You can only choose one family to be born in. Your vessel, or you, can't be born into more than one family. I'm sure you understand. Though you can only choose one family, you also have another choice. Let's see what our friend Haoyu chooses, and if he chooses the other choice."

"A Scholarly Family, which helps to increase his comprehension. A good choice, I must say. The starting comprehension of a vessel isn't very high, and it's not something that can be increased early on when you've first reached the world and gained your awakening. Other weaknesses can be covered by one's equipment, provided they have spare spirit stones. I'm sure you'll receive some starting funds at the beginning of your journey, if you follow your destiny and help the right person that is."

"Haha, as I thought, he did choose the other choice available. Yes, though you can only choose one family, you are able to choose if you want to be recognized as a Transmigrator. As you can see, doing so will increase the power of your soul sense by an additional three, because of...nine years of compulsory education...that sounds rough. Whatever the case, having a stronger soul than those of the same realm will benefit you greatly, and may even help you in hiding from those of a higher realm, provided that their soul sense is lower than yours. Find elixirs that will help you strengthen your soul, or just make them yourself."

Aptitude

"We've come to the page where you can choose what type of Spiritual Roots you want, therein affecting your aptitude and the quality of your spiritual roots. Depending on how fast you want to be able to cultivate and the purity of your spiritual roots, read through them yourself and choose what you want."

"Our friend Haoyu has chosen Heavenly Spirit Root, which is the best Spirit Root one can have. It gives him 70 extra aptitude and his cultivation speed is unparalleled. As a reincarnation of the Dragon Aotian and a Transmigrator, I wouldn't have expected anything less to be honest."
(4) Vessel Creation - Spiritual Roots, Body, and Blood
Spiritual Roots

"As we've mentioned before, spiritual roots also dictate the type of Qi your body will absorb during battle. Allowing you to use your techniques and skills without fail. On this page, you can choose the main element that you want to focus on. It seems the default will always be metal, however, you can choose to not focus on metal and have an even distribution of your spiritual roots. Like so..."

"However, Haoyu, seems to have a particular plan in mind and chose metal to be his main element. How interesting. I'd like to see what he's planning..."

Body and Blood

"Now, we've come to the page where you can choose your innate constitution, choices that affect the type(s) of body and blood you will have for your...body. These choices will definitely be of great aid during your cultivation path, so be sure to read over them carefully on your own, and choose the ones that will benefit you greatly."

"As for our friend, Haoyu, what choices has he made I wonder."

"His first choice, is the Innate Dao Body. It increases cultivation speed by 10% and eases the difficulty of breaking through to the Foundation Realm. I see."

"Ah, if you don't know, the Foundation Realm is the second major realm in this cultivation world. For mortals who begin their path of cultivation, they will start at the Qi Refining realm, the bottom of the barrel, so to speak. We'll speak more on the cultivation levels at a later time."

"His second choice, is the Demon Bloodline. The blood of ancient gods and demons, really one in the same. Increases lifeforce, or Health, by an additional five points and each breakthrough to the next major realm will gain an additional 20% of Health? How strong, as his cultivation realm and strength increases, so does the Demon Bloodline. As long as his base lifeforce is high when breaking through, so will too the additional lifeforce he will receive as he reaches the next realm."

"Hmm...interesting...It seems he's chosen one other bloodline. What could it be..."

"Oh, the Otherworld Bloodline, a descendant of an otherworldly bloodline. Having this bloodline means that other beings have come into this world with their physical bodies and not just their souls. Interesting...doing so would have taken quite an exorbitant amount of spiritual power, whether by accident or on purpose. Not even Deity-realm cultivators have that power in this world...don't tell me...from...the...$*#@*...realm...no...maybe even higher...Let's not think too much."

"At least, it seems this bloodline will make him more vigorous, but it seems the bloodline comes into effect when he's become a cultivator. But, it seems not just a cultivator, the bloodline will only truly awaken when he has broken through to the Foundation Realm. It will double the base health when he breaks through to the Foundation Realm? Quite a powerful bloodline, if taken proper advantage of in the early stages of cultivation then..."

"I see...along with the Innate Dao body, which will make breaking through the Foundation Realm less difficult, and the Demon Bloodline which will increase lifeforce by another 20%, Haoyu is trying to set a stable cultivation and vigorous body for future breakthroughs. A body with great lifeforce will also be able to contend with other late-stage cultivators and beasts in his realm, and maybe even those in the early-stage of the next realm."

"My friend, I hope you are able to gleam some information from our friend, Haoyu's, choices. I'll say again, look through the innate constitutions carefully. It could mean the difference between life and death."
(5) Vessel Creation - Childhood and Youth
Childhood

"From birth, to childhood. We've come to the page where you can dictate the opportunities, good or bad, that you encounter/encountered during your childhood. These opportunities will impact your stats positively and negatively, thereby helping, or crippling, your cultivation path. As before, look through them yourself and choose what you think is/are best. Don't forget, that you only have limited points you can use, and we still have your Youth to look over."

"If you're interested in Haoyu's choices, let's take a look together."

"It seems he's chosen three opportunities to encounter during his childhood."

"Body and Mind Cultivation, increases his lifespan by 10 years. An extra 10 years of lifespan is quite good. Was fond of Wolfberry tea as a child, building up a good physical condition? How can that be? I vaguely remember drinking many cups of green tea during my life and it feels like my lifespan didn't increase by doing so...Or did it?" *Sigh*

"Hot Springs, his lifeforce gains an additional 10 points. Discovering a mysterious medicinal spring that strengthens one's physique, that's a good choice. Considering that Haoyu is seeking to have an abundance of lifeforce after reaching the Foundation Realm, every encounter helps. Though, I do wonder if that mysterious medicinal spring, also had monkeys bathing in them? The Compendium says there's places as such, in an island country on an eastern hemisphere of a different world. The country where the sun rises, or so it says."

"His last choice is, Unforgettable, he gains an extra 20 points towards his comprehension. Quite the great choice, considering how important comprehension is to cultivators. After he started reading, he realized he had the ability to never forget...a total recall...ah, not the one where a terminator has his memories implanted, but photographic memory, or eidetic memory, they call it. Such a blessing, but also, could sometimes be a curse. You'd really need to have a good mental state in order to realize that ability, and use it to your advantage at an early age. Though is that possible? Maybe only for those who have transmigrated, and have some semblance of control over their soul and consciousness since birth. Friend, reality, is often different, isn't it?"

Youth

"From childhood, to youth. I'm sure you already know what I'll say about this last page of your vessel creation, where you're able to choose what opportunities you'll encounter, or will have encountered, when you truly awaken your soul. Choose carefully when you get to this page on your own, it will be your last chance to prepare properly before actually entering the path of cultivation."

"When you've prepared yourself, we'll take a look at what our friend, Haoyu's, last choices are with his remaining three points."

"Lightfoot Master, his speed is increased by 3 points. By practicing a mortal movement technique, he became faster than his peers and no one could catch up to him. I wonder how a mortal was able to get such a movement technique, even if it's of a low level, it's still not something easy to get for those not on the path of cultivation. I wonder, if by choosing this opportunity, maybe an old-master, pretending to be a beggar, from somewhere gave the book to Haoyu, after Haoyu gave him some food and wine. That often tends to be the way that the destiny is set. As I've said, the Great Heavenly Dao is unpredictable, yet sometimes almost always predictable."

"Martial Artist, increases his lifeforce by an extra 20 points. Training mortal martial arts, at the age of twelve, has made his physical body grow stronger. I see, mortal martial arts...I have heard of young children training in martial arts and having incredibly strong bodies when they grow older. It seems there are even those who can kick down thick banana trees with just their powerful legs and strong shins. Just the thought of lightly hitting my non-existent shin bone on a chair is enough to cause me pain, but to use it as a weapon...pure mortals can be quite scary and dedicated. With elixirs and body cultivation, cultivators don't really think much about using our bodies as weapons, but for pure mortals..." *Shudder*
(6) Vessel Creation - The End of The Beginning
The End

"Well, my friend, it seems we've reached the end of vessel creation. I hope this chapter has been beneficial for you, and that you have gained some insights that will help you in creating your own vessel before your reincarnation, and subsequent awakening in the world."

"As you can see, this is the final page that you will have access to. Here you can see all of your stats, and those in green are the stats that have had their values changed from your previous choices. Those stats in white, are of course ones which haven't been changed. If you want to make any changes, you're able to do so by returning to the previous pages, and if you want...min-maxing...your statistics."

"Though I stressed about the importance of spirit stones, it is one aspect of the world, and your 'stats,' that is the easiest to change. As it is the main currency, you can easily obtain them by trading, exploring, helping other cultivators, and more likely than not, helping communities, whether cities, villages, or sects, with problems they might have faced."

"Though finding inner peace, and increasing your mental state, isn't as easy earning spirit stones, it is much easier to improve your mood than the rest of your other stats. As long as you follow a somewhat righteous path, and seek the Great Dao, you will find some semblance of inner peace. And as I mentioned, early on, it might behoove you to visit a small village near the start of your journey after following your destiny. And, well, after meeting one of Heaven's chosen individuals."

"Hahaha, remember what I've said? The Great Heavenly Dao is unpredictable, yet sometimes almost always predictable."

The Beginning

"We've reached the end, but also the beginning. The beginning of your journey, your path to cultivation, and your steps towards the Great Heavenly Dao. What you do from here on is up to you, it is your journey. If you want to stride forward confidently, and experience what lays in store for you on your own, then you are welcome to do so."

"Our friend, Haoyu, will have, or have had, his journey already. How far he is, or how far he was, in his path to cultivation, can only be seen in this Compendium. However, we have already spent much time in this chapter...and I am...quite tired. As I mentioned, there are other Compendiums and guides out there in this white-space like library, sometimes filled with 0s and 1s. You should peruse them as well, gaining more knowledge is not a negative outcome. it will help you in your path to cultivation."

"The knowledge you gain can help you create a vessel more to your liking, can modify the world's principles to make some aspects of the world less tedious, realistic, and help you with quality of life. Not to mention maybe add more difficulty, and more content to the world at large. The choice is yours."

"As for our friend, Haoyu, it seems that his world, in his instance, is free of any modifications at the moment. But, that might not mean that his future worlds will be without modifications, brought on by great powerful cultivators, god-like cultivators...no even more so than god-like. These...beings... have the knowledge and understanding of the world's principles, and understand the Great Heavenly Dao. They can modify almost all aspects of this world and its principles."

"Truly, a terrifying feat and power...but what are they called? Well, since they have the power to modify this universe's principles, perhaps, we should call them...Modders...And since they have the power to create, they must have a place where they can do as such, or even show off their work. Like how a carpenter works at a Wood Shop, or Carpentry Shop, these...Modders...must also have their own work space...a...Workshop. Look for this, Workshop, in the Library. Though I say Library, it is different from the library in the white-space like area. This Library, is in a slightly-dark-space like area, sometimes also filled with 0s and 1s."

"Maybe you'll be able to see some of these...Modders'...creations and have them bestow it upon your 'world.' Also, take note, whoever they may be, they might not speak the same as we do, but they might still allow you access to their...mods...Though, I probably assume not for free. You might not have to trade currency, but a show of faith will probably be enough. Express or feel agreement with their idea or proposal. In other words...you must Subscribe to their modifications, for it to have any effect on your world and its principles."

"How will you able to see it then if it's in a slightly-dark-space like area, you ask? Elementary, my dear soul friend. Like how steam is an invisible gas, if enough condenses into tiny water droplets in the air, you will be able to see the, 'steam' in the slightly-dark-space like area, sometimes also filled with 0s and 1s, because of the light. Just because it is a slightly-dark-space like area, does not mean it is bereft of light."

"However, you must know, the Library cannot exist, without having Steam. Steam is what powers the Library, it is the energy source of the Library. Nonetheless, Steam itself cannot exist as a source of power, if not controlled and regulated correctly and efficiently. And, so, what do you think correctly and efficiently, controls and regulates, Steam as a power?...VALVEs..."

"Hahaha, well my friend, I hope you enjoyed that tediously prolonged monologue about our current state in this infinitely expanding universe(s) and cycles of reincarnation and rebirth. Though I did say I am quite tired, now, it feels as if I'm in the throes of a violent spasm. I won't take up too much of your time now. I only wanted to share with you the links, to the other Compendiums and guides, as I've said previously. To use them is up to you, but there maybe things in this world that you'd want to know about, in order to fully experience what the Great Heavenly Dao has set for your destiny."

"This is a, channel, wherein you'll be able to find numerous resources that will greatly help you in all matters of cultivation and of the world in general. This also includes a list of many, mods, that will help in modifying your world and improving the quality of life, should you wish to seek them out."

"This is a link, to an Alchemy Compendium. It details all the grades, types, names, effects, and prices of all elixirs in this world. If you want to know more about a certain elixir, you need only touch the name of the elixir and it will take you to that elixir's page. There, you can see many more details about the elixir, and all the possible ways to create that elixir, with all the possible herbs in this world. Truly, the being, or beings, that created this Alchemy Compendium is much more of a stickler than the one that wrote this one. Well, I guess, myself, if my consciousness is derived from the author of this Compendium."

"Looking back at the things I've said...how embarrassing. Let's not dwell on the past."

"These two links, lead to a...calendar...They have arranged the most important, impactful, and imperative events, and interesting, indispensable, and influential situations, chronologically."

"Calendar 3.A, is composed in this language, and has a very important timeline to the right side of the main calendar. If not known ahead of time, there will be many...things...that will go amiss."

"Calendar 3.B, is not composed in this language, however, I'm sure there is an easy way to be able to translate it to our language, especially if it's opened in the white-space like area instead of the Library. Then what is the allure of this calendar? The chronological timeline of events is easier to follow, and is much more simple in it's structure."

"Now that I've left some, references, I feel as if this chapter has been fully conveyed. If you've taken the time to fully comprehend this Compendium, then I thank you, soul friend. I hope you've been able to gain some insights, and entertainment, from my shenanigans. Now go, explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate, of course, within reason, in this new, or old, world to you. I will take some rest now. Maybe, in the future, we will be able to open the other chapters of GuYue Haoyu's Compendium. To help those new souls, who have just arrived in this new world. To better understand the Great Heavenly Dao's plans, and the principles and rules of this world, and universe."

"Remember as I've said? The Great Heavenly Dao is unpredictable, yet sometimes almost always predictable.."

@Relentless Revenant: Thank you for the link! It definitely contains more events and even linked item rewards. For me, the google translate to English is good enough to be understandable.

Timeline from Qi refining(練氣) to Divine Transformation(化神), should contain more events than 3B link, but also in Chinese
