"We do exercise our surffrage to choose a great lord."

Description

This mod adds democratic feudal elective succession to Crusader Kings 3.

Elector each have an equal vote and exercise their suffrage autonomously.

They will not be influenced by the choice of holder and will choose candidates they prefer and believe are capable.

To Be an Elector

Must be the holder

Must be a de jure vassal of the respective title
Must be a direct vassal of the holder or a vassal of their vassal
Must not be incapable
Must be an adult

To Be a Candidate

Must be a de jure vassal of the respective title
Must be a direct vassal of the holder or a vassal of their vassal
Must not be incapable
Diplomacy or stewardship must be 'average' or higher, or one of them must be 'excellent' or higher

The Candidate Preferred by the Electors

They prefer candidates with experience in diplomacy or stewardship.
They prefer candidates with higher skills than themselves.
They dislike candidates from families similar to that of the holder.

Caution: I recommend this election only for titles above the kingdom. Your dynasty may encounter difficulty in maintaining that title.

Love this mod. Does it still work?

Can't wait to try it out. I have a feeling a lot more duke's and counts get elected than normal all the way up to emperors. Which might lead to difficulty to keep a realm together. Im interested in trying out a randomizing way of rotating which King gets to be Emperor but want to try your mod first.
