i dragged my mouse to the farthest point i could get to; the "border" is the place where the game naturally brings you back.
then i chucked the puzzle box as far as i could off screen. i think there's a mechanic that helps get off screen items back by slowly bouncing it towards the center. so as long as you chuck the box off screen as hard as you can, the game will naturally bounce the box, and most of the time it ended up flipping for me
