Hill 660 is the last pocket of organised resistance on Cape Gloucester, once this is captured, we can all go home.

The capture of Hill 660 and the repulse of the counterattack on the 16th of January marked the effective end of the Japanese defense of the Cape Gloucester/Borgen Bay area.
