Description

Welcome to Harvest Drought;
A Dustbowl inspired reskin of Harvest.

Now you can finally play this fan favorite map in a New Mexico esq environment in the middle of nowhere!
Hope you brought some water, cause we sure don't have much here. Instead of harvesting hay and gourds, in this version its all about that precious Gravel and Coal.

Hope you guys enjoy.
Feel free to use for any purpose you'd like, no need to credit.

Fixed blue shed textures being mismatched

I am not trying to get this map ingame officially. I just really enjoy doing map reskins and changing up aesthetics. All I ask is for people to play it if they'd like and possibly use it on a community server or two. That is all

This is reasonably good-looking!
One thing that sticks out to me is that the 3D skybox is really uniform and it's easy to see where it ends.
It could use some pieces that stick out less and some pieces that stick out further; some random buildings; some massive cliffs and so on.
Look at the first point of Goldrush Stage 3 for inspiration.

I also think that using ACTUAL Dustbowl environment light settings here would look prettier than Hydro's environment light.

would be cool if valve did shit like this to maps that are like lush forests and like really grassy in summer if you know what i mean

Man, this is so clean! I hope we see a resurgence of classic new mexico/OG tf2 inspired themeing. Dont get me wrong, its cool to see so many unique maps, but at the end of the day tf2 has and will always be set around useless deserts fought over for nothing :)
