House Flipper 2: How to "Move" Stairs in Career Mode
By Quantum Boogaloo
Stairs can be a pain to perfectly align in some houses in House Flipper 2. While you can't technically move stairs outside of Sandbox Mode, in this guide, I will mention a quick technique that's nearly as good and, hopefully, will save you some headache.

Moving Stairs in Career Mode
While you can't physically pick stairs up like you can items, furniture, fixtures, and most anything else in the game, there's a little trick to "moving" stairs in Career Mode that I hope can be helpful to others, if you ever want to reposition stairs and are not in Sandbox Mode.

Step 1

In the Tool Wheel, choose the Flipper Tool and press R (or equivalent button if on a controller; House Flipper 2 is one of the very few games I don't use a controller with) to switch to Duplicate.

Step 2

Left-click to select the stairs you want to move to create a duplicate. Move these stairs to an unobstructed location out of the way of where the original stairs are; if desired, simply place them where you want them at this time. Otherwise, proceed to Step 3.

Step 3

Press R while still using the Flipper Tool to switch to Sell, and sell the original stairs. The unwanted stairs are now out of the way!

Step 4

Press R again while using the Flipper Tool to switch back to Duplicate, and create another duplicate of the stairs, placing them where you want them to be. Please keep in mind, once placed, you cannot physically pick up and move the stairs; so once placed, if you made a goof or changed your mind, simply sell the new stairs and duplicate the staircase you have off to the side.

Step 5

Once you're satisfied with the location of the stairs, sell the first duplicate you put off to the side to receive a full refund. You have now moved a staircase!
