One other not very important thing in case you're interested. Where you describe how to start getting to Artifact #24 there is a much easier way (I have a video if you would like). Once you break the second lock, there are void nodes that open at ground level of the type you can use to boost up high in the air so that land you right where the void nodes are that you refer carefully reaching with shadow flight.

I didn't realize till looking around for a while then finding a video that when you referred to "the end of it" you meant while still in the Serpent Hole. I thought it meant to the end of Anvil's Ford. Oops.
