Description
[OIF] USMC (2003)
I spent a lot of time browsing the workshop & couldn't find an OIF USMC faction that I liked... so I made one. I tried to make the most authentic representation of Marines in Iraq ca. 2003 that I could with assets available to me. If I got anything wrong, feel free to let me know in the comments. Created for the Grozovian Armed Forces[discord.gg] community for use in our upcoming 03 Iraq Invasion side campaign. Addon is signed for dedicated server use. I probably wont be making any major updates to this any time soon as I have a lot of other projects in the works atm, but you are free to modify/repack any contents of this mod.

This mod is well made and very comprehensive but would you ever consider replacing the CUP MARPAT with either of these?

These look and fit much better with the rest of the S & S gear.

ammo count seems low. 3 mags only. is that realistic to the war?

@Furihime During the early parts of OIF, it was all over the place when it came to uniforms. MARPAT was in limited circulation, with most wearing it being commanders. Marines had limited access to desert MOPP suits as well, with the vast majority receiving M81 Woodland camo MOPPs. It's not really inaccurate, just a representation of the mess that was Marine logistics.

I really do like this, but I do have to ask you why you insisted on only having select units (Such as the Squad Leader, snipers, Platoon commander, team leader ) in the desert MARPAT uniform while all the other units are in the more standardized (at the time) uniform. I do realize that MARPAT was beginning to circulate during that time, but there is zero chance units would be in mixed uniforms in a combat environment. If that wasnt the case then I dunno whats doing that. Additionally, I am unable to change their uniforms at all. Every time I edit them, they immediately reset back to their standard loadout while still in the Eden editor. Other than that, I love the rest of the mod! Aside from those few things the accuracy is quite good

@Ranger_Actual Nope, that was intentional. The AT4 isn't exclusive to AT roles, it can be used by anyone.

@Headsman I found it, nvm lol, I just have to change the backpack, is there a way you can fix it to where its on the right backpack?
Boz  [author] 23 Jul, 2024 @ 3:26pm
@Ranger_Actual It's probably one of Hendrix's backpacks with the AT4 on it.

Why do the riflemen spawn with launchers they're not AT/AA? when I checked the inventory its not in there, and Idk if its a backpack or what i tried changing everything can't find it.
