Smooth Ragdoll Jiggle

Description
Successor of the Smooth Ragdoll Push addon for Garry's Mod. Causes ragdolls to jiggle around when you walk over them. Doesn't serve any gameplay purpose outside of making the environment react a little bit more to the player.

Effect inspired by Resident Evil 2: Remake.

Features:
  • ragdoll_jiggle_react 1 to enable the effect.

  • Makes ragdolls react when a player walks over them by jiggling around the limb the player is walking on. The push force is rather small and is applied every frame.

  • Unless you're already using another addon that disables player collisions with ragdolls, the required addons are indeed REQUIRED for this addon to function as intended.

Greetings, I have a question, what do you Counter-Strike: Source gloves you use in your videos?

I don't mind personally trying to add support for npcs, given that the new code sample is written in a different hook, unlike the previous version of the addon, which directly affected only the player and only him (it was extremely difficult for me to change the code that was originally written under the hook for the player). Now, the scope has become greater, but... It was safer for me to ask you about it, since I don't really trust my knowledge of the code. Sorry for being obtrusive and stubborn.

My addons aren't exactly very configurable as I always script them in a way to do what I specifically want, publishing them is always just an afterthought. It costs me my free time to add additional configurable settings that I won't really use.

I know that other people might want something slightly different, that's why I'm always fine with anyone downloading and further altering my addons to add or change whatever they want with it. I'm even fine with them publishing their altered version publicly, as long as they give credits accordingly.

Even if you have 0 programming skills, AI Tools are making it possible for anyone to alter or create LUA-based addons, even if optimization can be dodgy.

In any case, I think it doesn't cost you anything to add support for NPCs and the ability to simply disable this feature if desired. Sorry to bother you man

It's the same case as the previous addon:

Doable? Yes.
Worth the trouble? No.

If you were to make every single NPC draw traces every single frame to check for ragdolls as is done for the player, it would absolutely demolish ingame performance for what is basically a really minor and unimportant effect. 'Sides, NPCs already jiggle ragdolls occasionally when walking over them due to how the physics work.

Getting jiggy with it.
