People just want every mod to be the highest quality possible I suppose.

SSl characters are still better than sprite rips because at least the time and effort was put in to make them. Plus this one was revealed in a trailer back in 2021 so it's been a long time coming.

i dont realy know what the difrence is like ssl just isnt colored(or game boy style) so it shouldnt be a problem for every one
