"The Wulgs (Paragulo albafalx). A large, carnivorous species native to arctic regions in North America, Europe, and Asia. They've only been recently discovered, and yet have already cemented themselves as one of the most successful mammalian predators.
DNA testing has revealed that they're a Mustelid, genetically closest to the Wolverine (Gulo gulo). However, they're not close enough to be in the same genus; hence the Wulgs getting their own genus, Paragulo.
Strangely, the Eurasian population isn't genetically different enough from the American population to be considered distinct subspecies.
