In this guide I will explain how to properly play "Disney's Chicken Little" without any problems. For many this is a very nostalgic game because some of you probably bought this game cause you remember playing it when you were younger. Me personally had many problems to start to play this game in steam so I will try my best to fix all your problems with this guide.

I'll firstly explain how to remove all starting bugs such as the Vsync bug or the high FPS one.. Then I'll do a short tutorial on how to 100% this game or move the aliens suit camera and finally I'll leave a guide that helped me maximize the experience while playing.

I also want to warn I won't explain anything about reforming the game to being able to play with a controller, to this day I don't even know if it's possible in this port.

In all honesty this is a horrible port of the game, trust me when I say you're better off installing a PS2 emulator and playing otherwise. Eitherway, now It's too late because if you're seeing this you've probably already bought this broken masterpiece, but don't worry because right now I'll try my best to fix all your chicken little problems.

I'm only gonna talk about the most common bugs that make the game literally unplayable.

This is probably the bug you're having problems with if you're stuck in the first level with chicken little suddenly slowing down and moving with delay. It was the bug that annoyed me the most because there was little to no information on how fixing it and made the game practically unplayable.

Down below is a short video example of gameplay with this bug, as you can see it's really annoying and makes the playthrough a literal nightmare.


I also want to notice that it's impossible to complete the game with this bug as you meet a dead end in the second level.

Surprisingly this bug has a very simple solution, this being downloading in the link below the "d3d8.dll" extension by clicking it and then adding it to the folder of your steam game.

This is a port from a PS2 game that had very little needs to run so when you move it to play in your gaming setup we can in someway say that it gets run a bit too fast, so fast that it leads to the game doing weird things such as chicken little disappearing or even the game crashing.

To fix this bug it's very simple, you have to go to your GPUs control panel where you have to select the game and limit the game max FPS usage. I recommend lowering it to around 30-60 FPS.

I want you all to know "Disney's Chicken Little" is a pretty good and entertaining game to play if you've already fixed the starting problems. I recommend playing the game normally and enjoying it without focusing too much in the collectibles at first.

A very important notice many people have problems with is with the controls when moving the camera of the alien suit in some levels. Well the controls are 4, 6 and 8 of the numeric keypad in the right of your keyboard.

10. Alien Abby (Explore/Alien Walker Level) (Playable Character: Abby Mallard).
11. Runaway Runt (Runaway Space Bucket Level) (Playable Character: Runt of the Litter).
12. Space Alarm (Explore Level).
13. Space Simulator II (Spaceship Level) (Vehicle: Alien Ship).
14. Tube Surf (Alien Tube Level) (Playable Character: Fish Out of Water).
15. Cornfield Escape (Explore Level).

Only a few chicken little tryhards have the luxury of saying that they've completed the 100% of "Disney's Chicken Little". This abstract achievement is only obtained by collecting all the 100 baseball cards in the game, there are 5 of these in most levels.

When collecting all of these collectibles you're rewarded ingame with some goofy extras you can use to customize chicken little.
