🍌 Method 1: Peeling from the Stem
  • Hold the Banana: Take the banana in one hand with the stem (the part where it was attached to the bunch) facing upwards.
  • Pinch the Stem: Use your other hand to pinch the stem between your thumb and forefinger.
  • Bend and Snap: Gently bend the stem backwards until it snaps. This should split the peel at the top.
  • Peel Downwards: Pull the peel downwards from the split stem. The peel should come off in long strips.
  • Repeat: Repeat for the other sections of the peel until the banana is fully exposed.
🐒 Method 2: Peeling from the Bottom (Monkey Method)
  • Hold the Banana: Hold the banana with the stem facing downwards.
  • Pinch the Bottom: Pinch the bottom (the opposite end from the stem) with your thumb and forefinger until the peel splits.
  • Pull Apart: Once the peel splits, pull it apart with your fingers to expose the banana.
  • Peel Downwards: Continue to peel the banana downwards in sections until it is fully exposed.
🔪 Method 3: Peeling with a Knife
  • Hold the Banana: Hold the banana with the stem facing upwards.
  • Cut the Stem: Use a knife to cut off the stem.
  • Make a Slit: Make a small slit in the skin lengthwise, from the top to the bottom.
  • Peel Back: Use your fingers to peel back the skin from the slit, working your way around the banana until it is fully exposed.
💡 Tips
  • If the banana is ripe, the peel should come off easily. If it’s not ripe, you might need to use a bit more force.
  • Avoid squeezing the banana too hard while peeling to prevent bruising or mashing the fruit.

Choose the method that works best for you and enjoy your banana!
